Letting go
The clock is
ticking so fast.
It won’t be easy
letting it all go.
I dread the day when
so much has passed.
That I forget the ones
who helped me grow.
I would like to say
we’ll keep in touch.
And I would like to
think it will all work out.
But life won’t like
that too much.
This I know
without a doubt.
Stone. Cold. Truth.
