Does one forget to crack a smile
To turn on the light, to light the fire?
In this neverending shade of grey
We remain with chains around our neck

Why do we wander on our own?
To drown in sorrow, madness
Arms were meant to pull us together
But instead they drag us down

What is existing when we writhe
In pain, in grief, in delusion
Does our mind really cloud our heart?
And beyond that cloud, is a ring of gold
