I could never tell you, for I don't know myself.
I walk in the middle of the road
This is how it goes
Passing cars wonder
Is she on her phone?
Walking backwards now
If only my mother knew
And she'd ask me, "why?"
I just laugh and say
"I couldn't tell you"
