Welcome To Africa

*where presidents die in power the opposition die trying Musicians die on stage police in the line of duty nocturnals due to booty Soccer players on pitch teachers while they teach soldiers die fighting refugees and paupers die crying drivers die on the wheel painters die with a quill thieves while they steal addicts die of smoke and pills nobody wants to retire even at Robert Mugabe's age they all cling to talent and power so tempting and inviting won't we poets too die reciting?*
