Burdens
The weight
Atop her shoulders
Is enough to
Curve her spine
And twist
The corners
Of her lips into a
Sinking line
But in the view
Of distant eyes
She is no more
Or less
Than posture
Uncorrected
And vague
Unpleasantness.
