Commit your work to the Father
And your thoughts will be established
Don’t bring no more pain to your mother
You gave her enough when she had ya

Stop killing yourself and forgive your brother
Don’t you know that stress will beat you to the finish
Watch your steps and be good to the daughters
Or your footprints will be diminished

We all need a little love
So please come and fill me up
I might not be…

Sometimes I have a lot and can't get enough
But when Im left with a little I have more fun
Do you appreciate what you've got
When its all said and done?
Or do you play your fiddle?
Well, get up and run
!
From your life that will never be
Satisfied by material things
Dead inside
while your soul screams “mmmmm”
Ive been too lazy and its driving me crazy

We all need a little love so please come and fill me up
I might not have an empty cup just give me some, it don’t have to be much

I worked all day got my check and gave it away
Tried to get rid of the pain but still it came
Now I'm stuck with shame all over my face
And every day I wake, it's all the same

There has to be some way
out of here
nothing ever changes
So I put on my Chucks and I ******* the laces
Too many times I've tried to convince myself that ignorance is bliss
Seek and ye shall find
I'll die trying
cause I know there's more
to life than this....

We all need a little love so please come and fill me up
I might not have an empty cup just give me some it don’t have to be much...

Many cities I've roamed
And to many towns I've gone
Haven’t been to one yet
love hasn’t been shown
Taught my eyes to see fleas ticks and barking dogs
Realized I used to be all of these things
when I was still lost in the fog, so

If you need a little love
Just bring your empty cup
I might not be all the way filled up
But you can have some, I wont deny you my love

If you need a little love
Just bring your empty cup
I might not be all the way filled up
But you can have some I wont deny you my love
