I'm an amalgam
of what's wrong
with the world,

an exaggeration
of what a human
being shouldn't be

I'm a great white
who spends my life
circling my prey
until I've covered
my teeth in their blood

nothing more than
a tornado,
twisting viciously
through your town,
spinning your cows
and killing your families

I'm the lightning bolt
that struck here twice
to ensure that
you weren't breathing

a train whose tracks
have run out, but
I'm still chug-a-lug-a-lugging
toward the edge of
the Earth

a cloud of smoke
representing everyone
you love who's
ever died

I am what
goodbye
is made of
