I, was the glue that held you together.
there to weather whatever storm was there
kept you warm when times weren't fair
keeping you wrapped in my arm,  protecting you-- no veer
facing your terrors -- absent of fear

I, was your eyes when things weren't clear.
guiding you right until the truth would appear.
watching you fall, when your "support" wasn't there
When your small circle wasn't around
I, had your back so you didn't hit the ground
protect you from your nightmare --
middle of night terrors- - opened your eyes -- I'm right there.
drying the sopping wet tears from your eyes
until your fears disappear.

But, now that reality is here;
those moments are gone.
I gained sight --
my vision reappeared.
I can feel thing out from here
the feelings so gone.
it feels like they were  never really there.
because when I needed you
you were never there
right now the perfect
example of
what
got
us
here.
Just because people **** -  it doesn't give you an excuse to **** too.
