So little, was my heart
So torn, I was apart
So lost, was I from life
So sliced, I was the knife

But everything changed the night we met on Jupiter
When I heard its stormy winds whisper your name
And, dear, I've never felt more stupider
Even my decent grammar changed

We killed ourselves, one star at a time
Frying our feet as we walked through the sky
Once we caught our reflections, we both lost our minds
As the brightest of starlight made us want to cry

For in the light of the stars
we see how hideous we are
We see all our flaws and scars

And it's so beautiful, we finally die
In the frozen midnight sky

2,455 lightyears away from ourselves,
we separate into particles
And as we split into tiny pieces
We create new life and disprove Jesus

And we find ourselves at peace
As our souls finally release
And each newly shining star
Is what's left of what we are
