Love is never right
You're just what I need
At this moment in time
And I share in your greed
As you indulge in mine
It's just one more drink
That I'm buying for you
But just as you'd think
One beer turns into two
And as we converse
I see just who you are
and maybe it's a curse
Or maybe it's just smart
But whatever it is
There's something I can't resist
Everything about this
Is something that I've missed
So please just take me home
I expect nothing more
And after I've been owned
It can be like before
If you forget my name
I think I'll understand
We all feel just the same
But better than your hand
And I'm okay with this
I don't expect any love
It's a feeling I miss
But not one I think of
So please forget my name
Just use me tonight
I'm not at all ashamed
Because love is never right
