Feb 2015
She made it seem like
It was the latest trend;
The way she'd always wear
Her heart on her sleeves

After the fashion
Of her heart dressed up
While other girls thought
She was all messed up.

But her life isn't all
Smiles and validation.
Crop tops and crack rocks.
Loitering at backlots.

With shades to hide her tears,
It's clear that her monsters
Doesn't want her to know
She has something to fear.

Lately, she's been high,
Wasted, short on money.
She moved to the city
That is always sunny.*

- (A.F)
For the ones that
struggle with their insecurities.
