Jan 2015
I found her in the field that summer day,
queen of all wild flowers.
Her beauty was beyond compare,
I admired her for hours.

Something about her caught my attention
as she started gazing back.
That single glance, Gods finest invention,
left an imprint on my heart.

By and by the winter took her away,
There was no one to blame.
I found her in the field the other day,

this time however...

Nothing was the same.
A little something that came to me tonight, some things are better left in the past. We can only look to the future with hope in our hearts and optimism in our souls.
