I forgot the present.
I went back,
And watched a flower open yesterday.
Imagination turned real.
There was banter and banging;
Strumming and keying.
I witnessed a chick, hatching,
Breaking through.
After the picking and pecking,
Their scratching and scolding,
I paused in need of help:
Get Out.
No one is that good
.
Watched *Get Back* and swooned over the band. No one person was ever The Beatles. They were a unity. Never to be seen again. So glad they gave us such timeless music.

RIP kentaro miura
If you're an agricultural enthusiast,
Or gifted tower dwelling urbanite,
I know a priest who’ll bless your cockerel, favorite cow,
pig, sheep (with a predilection for lambs), tractor and
two-seater outhouse,
(I once saw a priest bless Farmer Paul’s load of manure).
He’ll lift a hand over
dog, cat, gerbil, cockatoo,
Foster children, adoptees, naturals and the unnatural.

They will bless people in love;
they will bless their love;
But not the union born from their love.

All love, he will say,
Is Divine.

God does not bless sin, said Papa.

Tsk, tsk... it's only a blessing, for Christ's sake.
Shame on the RC Church.

Afore you up and shuffle
out the door
for god to tally up
yer score,

may I make jus'
one suggestion-
that you ask of him
this question.

Why was Zebedee
so rude
and what became of -
Ermintrude??
It
I used to make this exotic Indian dish.
It combined so many spices—like cardamom,
coriander, and a hard
pulpy substance called tamarind that I
soaked in hot water and used only the juice.
It was a giant Middle Eastern stew.
It was half science and half art.
It was math at its best,
generally, I despise math.
It smelled so foreign and exotic,
it contrasted with the wife and 2.3
kids placed neatly around the dinning room
table, waiting on
the finishing touches,
sprigs of fresh
cilantro tossed atop each bowl.
An Indian bread called naan was dipped
in the stew—it was wonderful, amazing.
The wine—smiles—laughter,
I can still smell it and taste it.
And now,
on lonely winter nights,
my take-out tandoori chicken
smells like a T.V dinner.

Remember
When every touch
with all its good intentioned
kindness
We were once
Tender like our lips at first kiss,
      deeply we dive...
inside / one another's eyes,
Seeing with feelings
Past the weight of fevered flesh:
          A dervish flight
through those walls
layered with doubts, heavy
as the stones
we since turned our hearts into...

Remember when
Every word
          was lovingly spoken,
an uplifting wisdom
like feathers’ wings:
the soft music of our mouths,
when life was floating
lanterns
and briefly we‘re kept far
A/part
And still you have me soar.    🎈

Remember, when we are finally as one,
     whole, a hearth warm,
and ****
      those wet silences
      become undulating music like
                   the times we demure
our mouths still drinking, singing
instilling lessons
within the depths of our Heart’s thirst,
which only absolute certainty
calms and quenches…

Keeps a light so bright to carry on,
      knowing tomorrow will come
      yet when I'm with you
I am made new,
Even in the dark where stars
Are borne
         supernovae.
         Remember
when
in the break of morning
As eyes open from trenchant sleep
           (better than adrift or hollow)
Remember, how stunning that view
            inhale—surprised like
Awakening to life's wonder, that...
To thee and thine,
fearlessly I say
                depart and drink in
                the rain
     freedom love,
the sky and eyes will awake..

And if we have yet to meet,
since I know
           Truth and believe in Love,
When I fall for you,
Thank all the heavens vast, I fell for you,
                      I will fall up...
Because I remember
now,
it's you,
Lovingly    loving
Love,
who fills my very cup,
floating in the drink
of Us.               🎈
                                 (God how I love you)
