We are hope
But dwell
With despair
Death does not wait;
Nor does life.

I fight and I fight
With no end in sight

Death does not wait;
Nor does life.

I wither in pain
hollow inside and out

my flame does not burn
It’s been snuffed out.

In Death and Life

There is no end,
no end in sight.

what we have done
we have crossed all the lines
we have declined
all the warning signs
we have missed the deadlines
now one day our sun will not shine
to so many things, we remain blind
so stupid of us, that it never entered our minds
that we needed to be kind

to little, to late
to stop, mankind's fate
just wait!!

on this earth, the crimes, the crimes
committed against her
silent to what we have heard
we thought how absurd
and we just continue forward

when there is no more
songbirds
redbirds
seabirds
snowbirds
to late, for what we should have heard

then when it is to late
we will look back
wishing we would have listened to  and heard
all the warnings

that we should
and should have been
kind
to our mother earth

My friend once told me that they were trash,
And I told them their thinking was rash,
Becuase one man's trash is another man's treasure,
And you will be mine for forever and ever.
For my friend who always underestimates themself. I hope you can learn to see the good in yourself as well as you see it in others.
Talking to you is God's gift
Because if I thought I had feelings I know now for sure
And when you say
You gotta go home
I hate it.

Because I don't like being alone
The music grows quiet and the food gets cold
And the night has nothing to hide anymore.
You were the reason I stayed up to see the moon.

Talk to you later, see you soon, say goodnight
But this time
I can't say goodbye.

I'm not sure why.
There are hearts of gilt,
And there are hearts of sin
There are hearts that lose,
And there are hearts that win.
There are hearts of stone.

But if my heart was anything,
It'd be a cactus.

Prickly and unwelcoming with tight alien-green skin,
That never fails to swell to accommodate whatever grew inside unseen.
With love it'd bulge,
And it'd shrink in the absence of love.

(But with the right care it could bloom the most spectacular flowers.)

There are strong hearts,
But even strong hearts give in.
My heart is a cactus heart,
My heart could keep it all in.

As we sit together

beneath a sprawling maple
amidst colorful leaves

floating to the ground
like painted snow flakes

I think that autumn
must be the season of my heart

because I am forever

falling for you

A daffodil sang
love songs

to a lonely butterfly

as we shared a kiss
among the tulips

while listening
