She came upon a meadow, then she undressed;
And when she was naked, the meadow blushed.

Softly she tread, floating above the clover
Seas.  Suddenly lost, bold honey bees forgot
The scent of flowers blooming.  Iridescent wings,
Humming birds, monarchs, dragons, flying in
Procession and the mushrooming dew now rising
Began to swell, raining upwards into the mystic
Blue heavens and the trees beyond that clearing
Stood longingly amazed, so green their spying
Gaze, when all the myriad flowers loosely fell
And all the gathering of colours faintly dimmed.

She came upon a meadow, then she undressed;
And when she was naked, the meadow blushed.

sister sleep come visit me

and bring along your book of dreams

we'll stay up late as we turn each page

and dream of our forgotten days

Little dull birdies  .  .  .
Love own songs by mirror pond,
  .  .  .  Graceful swan sails by.

Hello Poetry  .  .  .
Dawn lords with simple vainness,
Watch her crown herself.

Hello Poetry  .  .  .
Day sullies night, bright vanity
  .  .  .  Dawn is a poser.

Hello poetry  .  .  .
Even vain rube's bio drains,
Spews self promotion.

Here is Pantheon  .  .  .
Dabblers, self aggrandizers,
  .  .  .  What a hollow hall.

Not fair— her dear swishing body,
The cling of shearing Indian cotton,
Cool nights of wine pouring shoddy,
Broken truths, laid to rest, forgotten.
My façade does not show
what nobody knows.
I feel deeply. People don't get that I fake a smile. I hurt like everyone else. I just don't show it.

Clutch, child,
Clutch with your diminishing strength,
Clutch with your breakable nails,
Clutch to your chest.

Clutch, child, hold it tight,
Before the nostalgia comes
And removes it from your sight.

Clutch the times, clutch the places,
Clutch Mother Gooses's wings,
Clutch Daddy knowing everything.

Clutch for dear life, your innocence,
Clutch all the things you've not yet given.

Clutch to your sweet heart
Whilst it's not yet tasted bitterness,
Clutch to your soul, dear,
Before it turns to heresy.

Clutch bright- eyed sincerity,
Clutch skinned knees and easy remedies,
And for the life of us, child, clutch me.

Alone I walk, skirting moon dark valleys,

A forest appears, then again disappears,

Call of the owl dims as new sun is rising,

Beyond vast plains, river always gliding.

out of sight
out of mind

deleted from sight
deleted from mind

removed from eyesight
removed from thoughts

The beauty I happened to have spotted,
The girl I passed in the mall,
Not just one beautiful girl, you are them all,
No name, because I never got it,
Could not tell you how gorgeous you are, but I thought it.
Your beauty cascades on me like rainfall,
You probably thought I was too small.
But, I didn’t get your number, and away you trotted.

Did you even see me?
or did you just walk by?
Did you think that I was dreamy?
or just another guy?
Did you want to get steamy?
*or were you just a passerby?

I ooze
      from kitchen
                  to desk
                       to couch
                             leaving
                                    a trail of words
                                                  behind me
:) for all of my fellow poetry slugs...
