Stop and listen... do you hear that?
The silent thoughts and broken spirits.
The mind running on low fuel,
The heart still not whole.

Do you hear the voices calling out?
Calling your name,
Pulling you down,
Dragging you beneath the surface.

Whispers of the wind,
Voices in the night,
Darkness overcoming,
Stop and listen.

Wake up from this nightmare,
Try to run away,
Try but don't succeed,
Stuck in this hell.

Voices screaming at you,
Shadows growing larger,
Darkness consuming you whole,
Just wake up!!!

Fragile
Pale
Paper thin
Who she was is hiding within

I cry
And plead
Through quivering lips
As her essence slips through my finger tips

Her soul
Her heart
And Her mind
Disconnected all this time

So I pray and pray that she may stay
One more day, I say, just one more day

Oh Great Haiku in the sky
Send sweet releaf from tears you cry
Our minds are barren
Our papers dry
Flood our seeds of poetry
A harvest soon approaching
A festival of frowns & smiles
All are welcome, Men, Women, Child
From there to now and then
We feast upon the blessed poem.
