A group of black clouds
gathered,
they had come to be together -
for the blue sky, had sadly,
just passed away,

The Sun
switched its warm,
radiant, bright light off -
paying respect to the memory
of another lost,
perfect Summer's day.

Heaven's gates stood
with arms wide open,
Heaven
flooded the grounds
below
with heavy,
warm tears of rain,

Upon these warm tears stopping,
A delightful,
sensationally bright,
hope-filled,
glowing rainbow
miraculously came forth -
A sign
that Summer's rain—Heaven's warm tears,
were not, at all, in vain.

We all have high hopes
As we step on the wagon
With the band playing
Grab the tail of the dragon

Not really knowing
What we are needing
Where we are going
When we are leaving

Just when we get there, hoping
Not everything's broken

Tripping the light
Of the fandango
What's the big fuss
Why can't we let go

Paying the fair
On what should be free
Instead mostly  care
You about you and me about me

This far into game I was hoping
Everything wasn't broken

Used to we'd all
Come up to the line
The same one we've learned
To step over in time

No matter which side
We all take a beating
With nowhere to hide
In our time of grieving

Either direction, coming or going
Seems these days, everything's broken

It is like a well has opened up in me
I can sing of your love forever.
I can a song that's never been sung
about the Son.

The winds of Heaven are rushing at my back.
Forward we go
Forward we go.
Hallelujah

With just one look towards You.
I melt inside your peace
I am washed from impurities
I am made new again.

Rocking in place,
narrowly missed
by the widest way...
this strange fire
that cultures
its angelic coop.
Their claustrophobic
allegiance to a breaking
heart.

each breath leaves its mark on the wind
words trip off many, many tongues
licking the air with love and hate
wars of silence between once friends
like solid walls of 'off limits' signs
written in unforgiving pain
minds say what lips cannot and ears
no longer hear sweet refrain
each breath leaves a scar on the wind
hot fire of love or hate
its always the same, friends one day
and the next, dire enemies.

Convention is a Covenant
That stultifies development
Tradition hinders gradual change
To Evolution an impediment
Yes; you are allowed to be angry
but- it's not my problem- frankly.
It is not mine to sip, this mug of tea,
-worrying about what it is that you see
-when you look on over t'ward me.
I'll be out there by the birch trees
-and you'll, within a year, find glee
-in somebody else. I know- very well
-that this is the situation at hand.
No; I can no longer be your man.
I hope you'll understand
-but know that you won't.

so much deeper
