The crossroads
Drifting in, drifting out,
Laying in this archway of dawn,
One foot in consciousness, one without,
The mind struggling to distinguish,
What is real, what isn't.

All night, traversing through realms,
Desires, fears, ecstasy, numbness,
Scrambling through the spectrum of visibility.

You were there.
It was springtime again,
The birds heralding the break of day,
And we were back on a field of unbroken promises,
On a trip down memory lane,
Where silence was a stranger,
Where the valleys were uncharted by emptiness.

I have learned to tell myself this isn't real,
I know when morning finally comes,
Darkness will fall.

All paths lead to dead ends,
And you chose the road frequently traveled,
A thorn had stopped me on my tracks,
But when I look up, I am all alone at the crossroads,
I call out and you're out of earshot,
On a path where I'm unwelcome.
And now the sun is setting.
This dream will be over soon.

My eyes open,
It's 12 past 8.
The sun greeting those escaping their slumber.
Both feet on the same side of the archway.
But the lingering darkness still stays,
And the crossroads still remain,
Empty.

I'll be there
If the sun starts to set out east,
If at the end you feel all beat,
Know this for a fact,
I'll be there.

If the clouds refuse to cry,
If your heartbeat slips a sigh,
Know this for a fact,
I'll be there.

If the stars hide behind the night,
If the dark engulfs your light,
Know this for a fact,
I'll be there.

If the winds break through it's chain,
And all you hold on to is pain,
Know this for a fact,
I'll be there.

I'll be there in the morning,
When you don't want to face the light,
Till I tuck you into bed,
And sing you a lullaby,
When all else whispers back into the sea,
Know this for a fact,
I love you.

Sahara
Sahara,
Did you hear the falling rose,
The beating heart that froze,
Did you see the falling fire in the sky.

Did you sleep in a broken home,
As your fear turned into stone,
Did you know the falling rain could turn you blind.

Sahara,
There must be more to life
Sahara,
When will you open your eyes,
Now I'm here, is it time to say goodbye.

Will the children see the sun,
Do they have to hide and run,
Will Mother always smile when she really cries.

Now the ashes paint the day,
And the night turns cold and grey,
Sahara did you walk into the light.

There must be more to life
Sahara,
When will you open your eyes,
Now I'm here, is it time to say goodbye.

The Wolverine
With folded wings,
I rush to meet the horizon,
The kiss of a ****** sunset,
In the arms of a cold grey sea,
Deep in her winter embrace,
I feel her stone cold heart.
It beats still.
There is the warmth of fiery blood,
Deep inside the icy cave,
Beating, beating still.
Let me whisper in your ear,
The words of the wolf,
That cries alone on a hill far away,
Waiting for his lover to rise,
Waiting for her to sing to him,
The lady of the moon,
Separated by dawn,
United at dusk,
Feel the pain in his heart,
Hear it echo in the silence
Of the sea at night,
When dreams are dreamt with open eyes,
She will call upon the waves,
That gently caress the sands of time.
On intoxicated hills,
Silently he waits,
While she sings to the seas,
While she sings the clouds to sleep,
For her grey eyes to turn to his,
But the clouds grow jealous of their love,
Thunder and lightning light up the night,
The storm embraces the sea in it's *****,
And her song can reach him no more,
There's only the roaring waves and the screaming thunder,
And struck by a million volts,
He smiles through the clouds at her,
But her eyes are turned away into the abyss,
And with one last breath,
He cries out to her,
As the lights go dim,
And the noise grows silent,
Silent and still,
She hides under the veil of the cold grey sea,
And in this cage of regrets,
I feel her stone cold heart,
Beating, beating still.

Reflections
Where did you find her?
I've been looking at the stars for 21 years now,
Do you see me across the meadows
From where we first met?
A summer from when I first held your hand?
Stand with me on this midnight fortress,
Under a canopy of dying stars,
And Nebulae celebrating the birth of light,
But I am bound behind this mirror,
Away from you,
Away from your eyes,
Away from your heart,
While mine beats in isolation,
Just a reflection waiting to be broken,
Mindlessly dancing in a glass cage,
The winds don't touch me in this world,
I feel the solitude of watching the birds
As they move on to newer, colorful flowers,
I long for the rain to wash over me,
For the morning dew to seep into my skin,
Unite with my blood,
Carry a teardrop to my heart,
Across this crystal sea I wait,
For Spring to bring in the sailors,
Swimming in golden waves,
Crash into the hills of sand I made for you,
We'll build our nest over this rock,
Like newly wed birds,
A home for tiny hands and tiny feet,
For sweeter voices,
This unbroken glass stabs my dreams,
I call out your name but I remain,
Unseen, unheard,
Soft wild promises fog up this wall,
There is no clarity,
Blurred images in a different land haunt me,
When you're awake, look at the sky,
Listen to what she says,
The clouds will play our songs
And as the music rises to a crescendo,
The Stars will cry out for an encore,
And for a moment,
The walls disappear, The lines get blurry
And at an instant our dreams collide,
With every whisper,
The shadows holding us back will break,
Silver moonbeams weave our hearts together,
A union of souls,
I am you and you are me,
Fly with me now to the top of the world,
We'll dip our hands in the sea of stars above,
Even as the seconds die out,
And the shadows return us to our worlds,
You'll hear me with every moonlight,
I'll be seen and I'll be heard,
In your heart, in your dreams,
In your soul,
Eternally.

Prelude
This is a prelude to a journey,
Across the waters to the Eastern banks,
Where old friends wait to greet me,
I'll await you across the sea.
The winds run their ice hands on my skin,
Resurfacing memories I had imprisoned,
Locked away in my mind,
The cage has been broken into,
Fear is a set of keys that opens my box of nightmares,
Now they run around,
Projecting suppressed images into my mind.
Mind over matter.
Mind over body.
But the mind is free willed,
And when the nightmares begin,
There is no waking up,
There is silence at the end of the line,
When all I need is a whisper,
There is emptiness.
When the fireplace will save me from the ice,
The doors are shut,
And no matter how many bells I ring,
No matter how bruised my knuckles are,
Nobody answers my prayer.
My legs give away beneath me,
Spiraling down,
I plummet face down,
Into a world I was afraid of,
A world of fears,
A world of tears,
The way out is across the sea,
I will await you my love,
Put your ears to my heart,
There is only silence.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Show me an Angel who cannot fall,
I've clipped off my wings,
I've set them on fire,
At the edge of the cliff, life will begin.

I was the King of whispers and silence,
And my Queen, the weaver of dreams,
Revolution brought down my Kingdom,
To a world of nightmares and screams.

A smoke filled, lit up city,
The scenes from the cliff bring pain,
The meadows I played in as a young boy,
The meadows I'll never see again.

I wait for your wise reflection,
I wait for the words in the wind,
My soul has been seduced by fear,
I wait for the Angels to sing.

Mirror mirror on the wall,
Why didn't you show me how far I would fall,
I've clipped off my wings,
I've set them on fire,
At the edge of the cliff,
This is the end.

Masterpiece of a glass maker
Dead to the point of no recollection,
Nobody rings the funeral bells,
Disappointed souls peep in through windows
Through golden glass coffins at the gateway of hell.
Rise above the river of darkness,
Feel the vapors of mystical suns,
Hands reach out, you're wanted in the sea,
Pull you under before you can run.

The woods are alive,
Trees and shadows run you down,
Careless screams of homeless serpents,
Shrill, they pierce into your nervous system,
You squint in agony,
There is no point hissing,
They will drown you,
They will choke you,
There is no cry for help.

A pair of twins at the edge of the forest,
A dark spot on the map,
It is forbiden,
Young urchins,
Above the law,
They snuck in playfully at 5 pm on a Saturday evening.
It's Tuesday now,
A bloodied scarf flutters in the wind,
The father, glass maker at the factory,
He plays with the hands of the clock,
Still hopeful even though his heart stabs him,
Count to ten.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Nine,
Ten.
****** ****** ******,
Have you felt the claws of deception tear at your heart?
Her screams ran through the castle,
The brother was already motionless,
Blood sacrifices and pentagrams decorate the wall,
The clock chimes twelve times.
AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH !!

The glass maker sits in his room,
With his masterpiece of golden glass,
His heart skips two beats,
One for the daughter,
One for the son,
He lays them down in the coffin,
Shuts down the transparent cover,
A disappointed soul,
He peeps in through the window,
The twins lie stiff and gray,
Dead to the point of no recollection.

Altar of the Eagle King
Soft rhythmic ticking of a mechanical heart,
You scream for silence,
But she ticks on.
You stand still,
Bathing in the winter sun,
Burning in the blinding snow,
Which way do we go?
Which route do we take.
It's a straight shot to the other side from here,
Formless spirits tempt you with dreams.
Break enough rules,
And they will crown you Eagle King,
Soaring above the common man,
In self appointed wings,
You watch everything,
You look down upon the lesser flightless creatures.
Dust covered unopened books fill up the library,
Once a prospering civilization,
They have been reduced to brainwashed moths,
They go where the light takes them.
Watchful eyes cover the walls of this city,
Every movement tracked,
Every voice heard,
Everyone watched.
The night offers the promise of freedom,
Climb the wall and escape,
The world is new,
The world is you.
Three hundred miles away,
Your ****** feet leave a trail,
The vultures are waiting.
Feast your eyes on the magic of a new power,
A golden city with candles afloat,
Sand haired women with velvet dresses
Watch you from across the street,
You're a stranger among them,
Prepare your eyes for the fall of life,
They hold a banquet
To celebrate the meeting of the wolf and man,
It starts to pour as they touch.
Unanswered prayers hum in the air,
Suspended on the strings of doubt,
They have been returned to the sender.
Across the firepit,
Six sick savages mock the fiddler,
The music stops, words are exchanged,
And there's blood.
Six shades of red fluid,
Creeping slowly to fuel the fire that stares.
I've had enough.
I retire to my tent and someone's waiting,
I am the eagle king,
Her red hair paints the sheets red,
My thoughts go back to the six shades
I witnessed moments ago.
There's a murderer on the loose,
I didn't ask for this.
Set off into the night
Towards the temples of the East,
I may find my peace,
In a little corner of the marble city,
Bow down to the idols like sheep in the crowd,
The blade comes swiftly,
I felt no pain.
The sacrifice has been made,
There's no more waiting now,
You'll have your answer in the mail tomorrow.

Sleep
Good evening,
Welcome to this new segment called,
Sleep eludes me.
The fairies of shut eye haunt me,
Claw at me,
The nightmares don't begin,
Reality turns and heads South,
Down into the depths of uncharted darkness.
The compass points in all directions,
It's broken.
I learnt today,
Dreams are inflammable,
They should come with a warning sign,
Warning, Danger, Wet Floor, Inflammable dreams.
They caught on fire before I could dream them,
Now I sit here helpless,
Eyes red and tearing up.
Sweet sister of death,
Embrace me,
Let me feel the warmth,
Of drifting into a new land every night,
Of meeting new people in a new light,
Of dreams where I'll meet her tonight.
Come here,
Sit with me,
Have I told you I love you?
Smile.
And yet it burns again,
Inflammable fantasies,
Engulfed in a flame of nightmares,
Where are you?
Speak to me,
Guide me with your voice,
This house is going down in flames.
Save me,
Sweet sister of sleep,
Embrace me.

Ever felt this way before?
I have a confession for you.

Love swept in, swift and smooth,
Opened up an old vault I named Heart.
Viscous blood mixes with this new feeling,
Everywhere I go, you're with me.

Yesterday's darkness is gone with your arrival.
Open up the doors and let love shine through.
Under the starry skies, I'll hold your hand.

Smile, and you can mend my pain,
Holding on to you in the rain,
A silver stream of moonlight greets us,
Never felt this way before,
Never felt this way before,
Outside, playing with the wind,
Nymphs sing songs of love.

Keys to my heart, I place in your hand,
Ever felt this way before?
Adventures await us my love,
Need I say more?
Ever felt this way before?

Take my hand and let my song take flight,
Reach out for me as I reach out for you,
Under the starry skies, I'll stroke your hair,
Look at me and my eyes will speak to you,
You, I love you.

Magic, cosmic, I don't know how I feel,
All I know is I have fallen in love,
Day and night engulfed in your light,
Look at me and my eyes will speak to you,
You, I love you.

Distant you may be, physically, but
Everyday my heart belongs to you,
Endlessly till it beats one last time.
Put your hand in mine,
Look at me and my eyes will speak to you,
You, I love you.

Follow the stream
Soft murmurs, calculated breaths,
Sing to your lungs and die,
You slowly start panting,
Heavy breathing, you're wasting it all.
Somebody altered my mind,
Must have been something
In the Whiskey I left out in the open,
There are colors everywhere,
Disguised in lies,
Nothing remains still,
Everyone's eyes are on me,
Stop.
They don't stop.
The string quartet starts playing,
Minor notes and unearthly chantings,
Everyone's eyes are on me,
Stop.
They don't stop.
And I run,
My legs feel like water, boneless,
Stumbling, falling, my heart keeps up the pace,
I'm out in the streets,
The light slowly dims,
The sun has been beaten,
The moon, victorious, grins.
She eclipses the heat and I feel the chill,
They are watching,
All the way down the street,
3.4 miles to the next exit,
They all stare at me,
Stop.
They don't stop.
I feel her tears on my face,
The clouds join the moon,
A mutiny against the sun,
It is raining.
Red, ****** rain.
The stream leadds me down,
To the woods by the old Doctor's house,
The trees glance at me,
They are not bothered by my presence,
They shake their leaves,
I'm not welcome here.
Howling wolves, ancient snakes,
There are eyes among the leaves,
There are eyes in the stars,
There are eyes in every steo I take,
They all stare at me,
Stop.
They don't stop.
The stream ends at a clearing,
Where the rocks pay homage to the moon,
The newly crowned King of the sky,
And at the end of the stream, drinking form the pool,
There's someone there.
She's not looking at me but I feel her watching,
She walks over and runs her hand along my hair,
There's blood dripping from her lips,
Sweet blood from her sweet lips,
And in a magical moment, I taste the blood,
It was you all this time,
I should have known it was you,
I should have known it was you Lucy.

My Heart is Haunted
The clouds take turn
To erase the sunshine,
To make way for darkened souls,
There's a chill in the air,
I can now feel in my spine,
It's time for the fortune to roll.

Eerie noises,
And whistling winds,
Calling me out to the cold,
The fog deceives me,
She betrays me,
There are no hands left to hold.

My heart is haunted,
With the ghost of your love,
Possessed by the spirits
Looking out from above,
My heart is haunted,
With your cold grey eyes,
Staring me down
Until the day I die.

Bloodstream ghouls,
Trapped in your senses,
There's no escape from their world,
Breathe in, breathe out,
Open your eyes,
Look into the soul of the girl.

My heart is haunted,
With the ghost of your love,
Possessed by the spirits
Looking out from above,
My heart is haunted,
With your cold grey eyes,
Staring me down
Until the day I die.

The walls spoke to me
Did you tell her about
The edge of the Universe,
Where the stars don't blink,
And you bathe in a sea of your sins,

The colors spoke to you,
In poetry and lies,
Desaturate your mind,
And step in through the blinds.

Is there anybody on this frequency
Listening to this voiceless prayer?
I want to go from here.

Painless offering of winged snakes,
Take flight down a road,
Where blind men see,
And snakes talk in ancient tongues.
Buses blue and yellow,
Take you to the playground
Where the pilgrims disappeared in holy smoke.
Black holes greet you with open arms,
Into the war-torn fields of red,
So beautiful, so ******, so red.
Staring at your defenseless eyes,
Headless hunters, brainless,
Seek you to join them.
Desert child,
Did the sun blind you?
Did the heat seep in through your skin
And burn you inside?
You've been digging at the wrong end,
The light will blind you,
Misguide you,
The exit is to the west.
Hurry.
There's a storm coming.
Get out !

Red
Red
Red,
She had the reddest lips I'd ever seen,
Or kissed under the trees,
But now, they are cold,
And the one who gifted her demise,
Stands before me.
Blue uniforms scatter around,
Questions and more questions,
I don't know anything officer,
He had a cold heart, and a cold grin.
I must identify one of the five,
Four innocent humans,
Scared and nervous,
Staring at me with those childish eyes,
They tell me they have done nothing,
I don't know that.
One of them took her away from me,
Was it the short one with red hair?
He's nervous and cold sweat illuminates him.
Or was it the tall blonde one,
He's smiling softly under that innocent look.
Did you do it?
I've never seen them before.
All I remember is the grin,
That cold grin, bathed in her blood,
The grin that took her smile away forever.
This is a difficult task,
I can't get her out of my mind,
Did I tell you where I first met her officer?
It was a cold starless night,
And our eyes met in the moonlight,
Something clicked,
And my heart skipped a beat,
Her's must have too, she giggled
And blushed when she looked into my eyes,
Lucy,
That was her name.
And now the blush is gone,
And the giggles are gone,
Cold death swept over her and stole her from my embrace.
I must find who did it.
One of the five.
The tall one with the jet black hair?
He has a familiar grin,
I remember that grin,
I remember those cold eyes,
Shining in triumph of doing his Master's bidding.
I point, it was him officer.
They seem satisfied,
They take me away, pull me away from the mirror.
The grin is back,
My reflection smiles back,
I remember you Lucy,
I remember when you grew cold,
When your lips lost their color,
They used to be the reddest lips I had kissed,
They used to be red.

Silence
Hello,
This act is about to begin,
I demand absolute silence.
Silence,
Isn't it beautiful.
Let me tell you about dreams,
Let me tell you about ambition,
Do your dreams haunt your dreams?
Have you ever questioned the world,
Have you ever questioned what they taught you?
Have you ever questioned existence.
I tried and I was shut down,
So here I am,
I have no questions,
So I'm asking for yours.
Let me tell you about freedom,
She is beautiful,
Brunette, green eyes,
She is perfect.
I questioned her and she walked away.
Too many whys she said.
Why did you walk away?
Nobody will ever answer that.
My words have been supressed,
They've been hidden,
But it's been too long.
Too long have I stayed locked up,
My mind struggles to be free.
Your chains won't hold me too long,
I'll escape,
And I'll question again.
A new era of people who think,
Of people who ask will be born,
Your power over us will slowly die,
The light on your staff will grow dim.
And all that will be left,
Is the silence.
Silence.
So beautiful.

A change of program
There has been a change of program,
This new broadcast will be brighter than the rest,
The songs on the radio sound different,
Things have changed.
The trees, the grass, the sky,
They remind me of you,
New emotions replace the old pain.
I run my hand along the wall,
And I hear you whisper,
I hear you call my name,
So soft, so sweet,
This is new, it has been a while,
Since I felt this warmth,
Since my heart began to melt.
I'll tell you about the touch of her hand,
It's like a breeze of lightning in the air,
Electrifying,
I get goosebumps.
I run my hands along the ridges of her face,
Her eyes, innocent, they smile.
Our lips touch as the red sun kisses the sea,
Sand embrace our feet,
And the water reaches out to greet every so often,
The sea is cold,
But there is warmth in being here,
With the one who stepped out of my dreams,
And took shape in my soul.
I'll paint the sky for you.
Maybe this is what they talked about in school,
When they talked about love.
Maybe this is what Whitesnake sang about,
Do you think so too?
Do you feel it too?
I touch her lips and she whispers,
Je T'aime.

War
War
Did you watch the news today?
It was all over the network.
Broadasting the horrors of bloodshed.
The war is back,
The playgrounds are gone.
Can you see the bloodstains
On the swingset Raoul's mother
Bought him for christmas last year?
Can you see? Can you hear?
There are women and children crying on the streets.
The boys have all been sent to war,
Two hundred and seventy three died
Yesterday in this town alone.
Is there a place I can go,
A place I can escape to?
Where I can read this book in peace?
Peace,
I say the words and my neighbour laughs.
That is a word that has been lost in time.
The sirens go off every morning,
And we scramble off to the basement,
The bombs are here, the enemy is at the gates.
Do you remember when we had to ask Mother
If we could stay up after 10 pm?
That was a luxury I gave away.
If only I could sleep at 10 pm again,
Without fear of the barrel of a gun at my temple.
The pain, oh the pain.
Life has turned into a desert I visited two summers ago.
There was a girl.
I think of her sometimes,
I think of what could have been if this war wasn't real.
Maybe she would have been real.
Seldom do we get what we want.
The things we fear,
Our nightmares emerge out as reality instead.
The television so kindly tells us where the war is now.
I knew his mother, I knew his brother,
And the blonde one, I went to high school with her.
Familiar faces on the TV.
It would have been exciting if I saw them
At some other time, and without lifeless eyes
Being carried away from places torn down by this battle.
Bombs.
They unexpectedly come and they take away what's dear,
But I'm still here.
Still hiding in this basement.
Thinking of the desert sand seeping through my hand.
Of the time when I held her hand.
She had a beautiful smile.
Are you here to save me from the war?
To take me to a place where i can finally read this book?
It tells the story of a young man
On a desert trip,
And a girl who destroyed him.
A girl named war.
There's a knock on my door.
She is here.

Knock on my door
Two Thirty Four AM,
The clock slowly ticks by to the next minute,
As I wait for a knock on my door.
Dim lights,
They slow down my heart,
And it pounds like never before.

There's a gentle hum
Of the wind in the trees,
As I wait for a knock on my door.
They howl at the moon,
And they glare out with lust,
They always seem to want more.

I open my door,
Impatient, annoyed, worried,
As I wait for the knock on my door.
You said you'll be here,
Eighty nine minutes ago,
Or was it Seventy four?

I run my hands
Along the white walls,
As I wait for the knock on my door.
Didn't hear of it,
Till the sun was up,
But you were no more.

Late night Brainwaves
A single line born from a drip,
I gambled with my veins,
Held a knife into my grip,
And you say I'm insane.

Mild doses of your ideologies,
Pumped into my bloodflow,
A poison you built inside of me,
A poison you let grow.

The iris loses its color,
Blank expressions say Hello,
The ceremony is long gone and over,
Where did my emotions go.

Did you lock them in the back room?
Where the fire started a minute ago?
Will they be horrified soon?
Is it them I hear at the door?

My nerves fight against me,
A broken and sabotaged nervous system,
Just give in and let me be,
I'll see you again,
Soon,
Very soon..
Whispering,
They talked into your ear,
Voices that never mattered,
Sat down and steered clear
Of the truth and you were flattered,
By misconstrued lies,
You found in a book 12 years ago,
The words of a lonely visionary,
He died alone but his words blow
Into the winds as they take flight.
Silence,
No words from the other side,
You were expecting someone,
Expecting someone besides
Me, but there was noone.
Stare,
At the line of eyes staring back,
Gazing into every crack in your heart,
Reading between the lines you racked,
A string of emotions out in the dark.
Reason,
Reason with me and tell me,
Show me what your eyes have seen,
Show me what you want me to be,
Show me where I should have been.
But theres nothing,
Nothing to show, nothing to hide,
It was all created in my mind.
There's still so much left to write
To you and to tell you what's right.
I created you,
Out of a magnetic discharge in my brain,
In a deserted castle on a hill,
On the night of 7th May, when it rained,
And the first drops gave you a chill.
I remember,
I remember everything, every moment,
But you've let go of my hand,
And you crossed the street to the end
To the edge of a new land.
Strange fears,
Strange feelings of loneliness,
Creeping up my spine, I remember you,
I wonder if I visit your sleeplessness,
With time, we'll be two.
Strangers,
Like Frank said a long time ago,
Love will be just a glance away,
All you need do is not go,
And when the time is right look my way,
I'll be there,
Waving,
Singing,
Smiling,
Looking for you,
And in a crowd of a billion,
We'll find each other,
And that'll be the end,
The end of my story.

Pursuit of Lunacy
Three thirty seven AM,
The fire alarms go off in my head,
The sprinklers have all gone dead,
The madman stole my voice from me,
Spoke out of turn into her ears,
Scared her away and she's not here.

Tears decorate the face,
Disbelief has filled my heart,
I can't tell myself apart
From the lunatic,
With claws upon my soul,
He's left me all alone.

Her blue eyes disappear,
Into the silence of the night,
I can hear me breathe, I can hear me sigh,
And I feel so weird tonight,
There's a face in the window,
Staring, burning in sorrow.

Green light means danger,
Forget what they taught you yesterday,
Stake to the heart to end my way,
Your soul bloodied with my soul,
My ways, my words, my thoughts, my eyes,
Buried away in the vaults of your mind.

I will turn you crazy,
I will turn you into me,
Like the madman that spoke in my dream,
I will be your lunatic.

Astronaut
Blink and a star is on its way to sleep,
I'm standing so close to Jupiter,
I can feel its winds sweep me off my feet,
I'm an astronaut without a name,
I'm an astronaut without a name.

Consider this,
I'm away on a cruise to Saturn's ring tonight.
Consider this,
The Sun's so far, it's so cold, I can't feel the light,
You penetrate my gravity armour,
You strike me with your black hole armada.

Neptune looks so lonely at night,
She longs for Venus but she's so far away,
Four hours at the speed of light,
But she's bound by the chains of gravity,
She's bound by the chain's of gravity.

Consider this,
I'm a million asteroids left alone in the emptiness,
Consider this,
I reach out for the blue but I burn in the atmosphere,
Your skies have set me on fire,
Burning in the flames of your desire.

The birth of a star painted in a supernova,
The glowing halo of a mothership,
Is all that was left over.
They reach out for the sun,
They reach out for the sun.

Consider this,
They don't have ******* eyes like Mother told us.
Consider this,
They look like him and her we spoke to on the bus.
But you flew your guns at them,
You rushed your bombs at them.

It was on the news that she brought down the aliens,
They looked like me and you but she went after them,
But nobody could be found on the ship that brought them here,
The red lights on Mars they felt was safer than this fear,
And yet she found one of them,
The one who saved them all,
The one who chose to stay,
And take the fall.
The unnamed astronaut.
The unnamed astronaut.

Another Man
Curtained in a shower,
Hidden from a world I once knew,
Imprisoned for desires,
Hidden in a world away from you.

When will they accept me?
When will they see I'm one of them.
Why do they reject me?
When will they let me walk among them.

Clouded in a smokescreen,
No window to see the soul i feel,
Surrounded by the low screams,
Of more like you left like me.

They took away the dream lights,
Left me all alone without a trace,
Can't tell if it is day or night,
I can't even recognize this face.

I had it all
Had it all
Had it all !

When I was another man.

Ultraviolet Skin
Electrifying my view,
Standing face to face with you,
I felt you in my ultraviolet skin.
Across the rubble of my past,
The night is yet to last,
Help me glorify my sins.

I listen to you whisper,
The words were meant for her,
I felt it in my ultraviolet skin.
Beneath the crying skies,
Can you look into my eyes,
Watch the fire burn me within.

Carry me now,
There's no air left to breathe,
I've swallowed my pride,
With my final heart beat.
Carry me now,
I have come too far to leave,
My time will soon be here,
The time for me to sleep.

You were the answer to my prayer,
But the poison you kissed,
Filed me in my ultraviolet skin.
I looked upon the moon,
I watched it disappear,
As my dawn began to ring.

Little Girl
Hush now little girl,
Mama's coming home tonight,
Hooded in a bad robe,
Shining her red eyes.

Don't cry little girl,
Daddy's not too far away,
He's listening to the prayers,
That escape out with your sighs.

Follow me little girl,
Crawl into my veins,
Feel my silent heart beat,
The bloodless broken saint.

Open your eyes girl,
There's a sun out there for you,
Buried in golden meadows,
Reaching out through the blue.

Don't look back at yesterday,
Don't think about tomorrow,
Just let the moment slip away,
It's time for you to go.

Come now little girl,
Embrace me skin to skin,
Above the icy ashes,
The ashes of your sins.

Sleep now little girl,
The night has just begun,
The other side clouds above you,
You will live again.

Soothsayer
You're talking in your sleep,
The words begin to creep,
You're opening up your mind to me tonight.
You shiver in your dreams,
The nightmares that you see,
Are the dark and clouded memories of mine.

And I would help you out,
All you have to do is shout,
I'd dive into your shiny restless eyes.
The horror that was me,
Burning in the sea,
Bathing in your cold and helpless cries.

The portals in your head push me aside,
The stories that I say tear up the night,
Just give me one more chance to show you the light,
I'm the noise behind your eyes,
Whispering your prayers,
I'm your soothsayer.

The leaves are turning blue,
Poisoned in your hue,
Collapse into the void I made inside,
I see me through your eyes,
While you hide within your cries,
I'll tell you what tomorrow brings tonight.

Myths
Screaming in the chambers of your mind
Silently you wail in pain
There's no silence you can find,
He's in your mind, you're insane.
The birds are singing beyond your ears,
They say what you don't want to know,
Scatter your mind and face your fears,
There's nowhere else to go .
Search your heart and one day you'll find,
Silence is a myth.

The light in the tunnel has been turned off,
You hold out your hand to guide you,
No one will hold you and lead you on,
The darkness engulfed within you.
Blackened tears reflect in your eyes,
They hide away your right to see.
In the distance, muffled in a cry,
One day there you will be.
Search your mind and one day you'll find,
Darkness is a myth.

Someday at dawn you'll meet the lunatic,
He looks an aweful lot like the man in the mirror.
Burnt and broken you fall through the opening,
Into your mind, with the madman, trapped in a tear.
Hungry wolves emerge from your thoughts,
Devour you all and you're left behind to see,
Torn and withered , the soul that you fought,
Was yours, and all that remains is me.
Search your soul and now you'll see,
I'm just a myth.
Just like you, just like them.

Reminisce
Across the hallway, the lights fade away
You think about it, every single day
The winds blow out the leaves, over your name

The neon halo flies, out to the sky
You close your eyes now, darkness arise
The burden of your pain, slipped on by

I say
Cover me night in silver moonlight
You're shining with the stars
The night is silently bright

I reached for you, you drifted away
Left behind and theres so much to say
Time flies on to the day we meet again

Carry me over to the land of tomorrow
Fill me with hope take away my sorrow
Crash into my mind with the musical morn
Laugh away now, i will join you at dawn...

Ma
Ma
Open smiles were fading away

As the seeds grew into trees

Innocent babies falling on the mother

Foreign guillotines flying free

The river of blood flowing by her

Mother’s sons are rising too

Fiery eyes blinded by the sister

You were a part of it too

Open your eyes and look up at the sky

Oh Mother we won’t let you cry

Your salty tears gushing down the rivers

Will bring your boys back home to life

Pretty birds will sing out for you Mama

We’ll build a heaven around you

MA!

All the toys were stolen by the father

And the children suffer in loneliness

One ******* gone brings around another

Our pockets overflowing with emptiness

Sad little sister fears the brother

She can’t hug mama all alone

Left to kiss the feet of the mother

She has lost her way back home

Its time to wipe your tears ma

Its time to forget your fears ma

Its time for me to come home ma

Its time you were not alone ma

Its time to….

The Saint
I am a saint walking in the desert

Surrounded by a smoke of illusion

The mind drifts higher with the warmth

Hallucinations set into fusion

A paranoid brain trying to hide

From the invincible images of the mind

Fake faces floating all around

Slowly the reality goes blind

Choking and panting and heavily breathing

The heart keeps up to the drumbeat

Realization soon dawns that I can’t breathe

And I long again for the desert heat

Now I flashback to the desert sands

Pouring out of my little hands

The snakes come and bow down to me

But the intoxication is now  lost in the sand

I walk down the long empty hallway

Endless doors opening to close all over

Stabbed by the memories of the past

But the feelings refuse to get over

Projections cried out as silky tears

Flow down to the velvety sea

The clamps of life slowly give away

But the freedom is not for me

The love of drugs and the drugs of love

Mix up before the night

Taken in and ****** and high

The end of the tunnel now has a light

The blinding light slowly dims

And shines deep in my eyes

Calling me to the end of the road

As I sail away… To the end of time.
