I want to go….
Where I can render harmless
The aftershocks of a quaking world

Where I can sweat in warm night air
Filled with a late summer’s peace
Ride on mattresses made of puffy white clouds
That slowly float past a bright harvest moon

Where I can pleasantly reel in the past
Smile at the younger version of myself
and forgive

As I stand beneath
this beautiful tree
I ask it's limbs
to hug me tender
and raise me up
so that I may see
the color of Autumn
in all it's splendor
he was asleep

in his own
satisfaction

she was awake
wanting

the snake
was a figment

something to blame
for his future

the tree was time
and its fruit

the secret
she already knew

but pretended
she didn’t

she was not a rib
but she left him

with less of himself
Art
A birth in silence opens your eyes
to a distant gaze.
Yet what is seen is not this time,
It is not this place.

Like a hand that grasps escaping light,
Glimpses enter your true sight,
This is a battle and you must fight,
To paint this picture with feeling's might.

With storms embraced and courage held,
Ignore the fear and phantoms untrue,
Rise to beauty, to love, that sacred virtue,
Art is what wants to happen through you!
Art! Art! The world needs you and your art!
The world as you see

Might be different in reality

The sight as you see

Might be distorted dramatically

Never trust your own judgment

Until no prejudice in your mentality
Create a brief moment
full of smiles for the poor
And be the most charitable person
