I had been waiting almost forever, for getting what I want.
And I realized you only compromise.
I kept on moving, accepting the compromise
And then I met you.
You made me feel like never before,
I was vulnerable.
You gave me the flight,
the sun shone bright.
You were so kind.
You said you love mountains.
I knew I loved them too.
I would gladly elope to the mountains with you.
Because I realized,
I had always longed not for hills
but for you.
You made me realize
who am I?
I was wandering all lost
and you became the compass
showing me the way to be found
all for myself, by me.

i bleed poetry
I am a prisoner of my own mind
The light at the end of the tunnel is difficult to find
I battle with my own demons
Numb to my sensations
I battle with the use of creating
Instead of destroying
I am a warrior
A warrior who uses
words and colors as my armor.

The individual drops of sweat
each represent a small piece
of your former self.

How much longer
before you are the person
you promised to be?

Your muscles tremble,
under the weight of change,
have you forgotten?
I know it has been so long
since you were a child
but growth has always
demanded pain

and it is time you pay.

sometimes we run
into the arms of
a terrible person
just in an attempt
to escape a
broken heart.

I'm done.
I can't help but think
That I'm better off
Gone.
