one way or another. Optimism and pessimism both
dull our senses, they both hurt our perceptions of truth.
The mountains and the valleys exist; a plain, no matter
the average elevation, is still a plain.

Let's close our eyes like we always do, this time opening our minds and allowing ourselves to see

On days where I find breathing difficult, I come to you and you push oxygen through my withering body. Who am I to want more from the person that gives me everything?
