When you look at someone,
instead of seeing bodies,
try to see their souls.

And then tell me
if they are beautiful.

Do their lights and colors,
on the inside,
outshine the distractions
on the outside?

L** ost out in the real world
up, down, left, right?
its all backwards
which way to go?

O ne way.
The other less traveled
or the well beaten path?
how to choose?

S igns? supposed to
follow the signs?
if i don't care,
how will i see them?

T ear down the walls,
break away.
become something else
ENTIRELY

every body has these little synapses in their tiny little minds
that shoot off commands to your nerves
or
release chemicals into your brain

that make you do or feel the
STUPIDEST ****
and there is no way
to.
turn.
it.
OFF.

unless of course,

you want to die.

My heart does not glow, float
try to beat out of my chest

My love for the world and
the miraculous
has not been returned

Do they exist?
I need someone to tell me how.
How?
How do I start on the path that will...
Will what?
I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY
How do I guarantee
happiness?
Life Counselor? Do you hear me?
IM LOST IN THE VOID
I can't do it all on my own
(But I sure as hell wish I could)

If you are uncomfortable when you look in the mirror,
keep in mind:
We spent thousands of years
trying to convince the earth
she was flat.

We wrote her maps as evidence of the things we saw;
and she believed them.
She cried tsunamis, and had earthquake breakdowns.

Keep in mind: the Sun never gave up hope.
The earth will keep spinning and breathing
the star-dusty space void of encouragement.

Next time you look in the mirror
and second-guess your potential divinity,
remember you will keep shining and living.

Because the Sun is out there
believing in you,
compensating for lack of the human capacity
to treat each other empathically.

You don’t need proof or approval
to be exactly what you are;
Eventually everyone will see
your infinite beauty.
