my heart leaps as you sleep
the night's silence envelopes us
and we are left with the sound of
our hearts beating

you turn and move while you sleep
and I lie still on my back like a corpse
love fills both our hearts even in slumber
and all is right with the world in this single moment

I wish I could carry this love and warmth
out into the world of chaos and change
and maybe I can, because while my love sleeps
my heart awakens
We were young and so in love
the day we met we fell with passion
lowered lashes, mysterious smile
holds you love, all the while, my love....

Wings of anticipation flutter from my heart at rest
breathing you deeply, smells the essence of night
pounding of erratic love that beat all the time
craving you constantly showing you my best ....

Pushing the silken hair from my eyes that place
a gentle demand with a gentle hand
time and space pounding, slow even breath you take
there is only you and I, in this tiny space....

So My Love, those were the days
you sweep me up and took me away
it seemed my days were filled with you
with loving eyes, stretched to nearness
naked embarrassments, of my heart deflowered ...

Words on my lips, tears in my eyes;
Let me speak, let me speak.
Don’t you dare
Hold my tongues
In your hands as if
I’m nothing;
As if words are not worthy
Of you clouded ears.

Words scar my breath, slowly rushing;
Let me cry, don’t bother stopping me.
You shouldn’t call me crazy
Stupid, lunatic,
All those bad things,
As if they don’t mean a thing;
As if words are not sharp
Enough to hurt me.

*"Let me speak."

He's never heard of mood music
Lucky for him
I'm always in the mood
For making love's music
The time is too soon to pass
There's so much pain
My eyes, pain is all I can see
I suppose this isn't what I need

Pain, be gentle to me
Because silence is all I can give
Pain, mold me
Because one day I'd become untouchable
Pain, release me
Because I am tired feeling the pain of the others

Pain be gentle to me.

You could of had anyone yet you choose to have no one and that my dear, is the most poetic thing. You see the simplicity and the comfort of solidarity, the gracefulness and confidence. you choose to see the beauty of the world instead of the world seeing the beauty of you. You chose adventure over heart break, and friends over lovers. And that is poetic.
