Midnight sees a chain
of lights,
heading into the forest
so dark.

Follow the Will-O the Wisp
at night,
walk with the lone wolf
that barks.

Take that step into the unknown, the path that leads to me,
and I'll be waiting there somewhere, deep within the trees.

So walk that long path
in peace,
follow your dream as
it winds.

Keep purpose in plain sight
to release,
love that is not left
behind.

Then we found our sea legs
which were where they'd
always been and we walked the waters
of the world as if we were in a dream.

But we sank like stones to fall on
bones in graveyards
with no headstones.

The Sirens play the minds of men,
pawn or King alike to them.

Chez Moune!
underneath the ceiling
feeling it would fall
dancing to electro-rock
yeah
we had a ball
and the Parisienne
dressed so fine
a
long time ago.

When sheltered from rain
You’re fixed on the greys above;
Play in the puddles
That which you avoid is perpetually drawn to the foreground

I
and my mother hide
hiding under our warm blankets

crazy
a little crazy
they're all white lies

so many
snow floods inside our house
ice walls
it's too cold to rest

are we
dumb dumb dumb

mother and I
we tell no one
our secrets

we drown
into our perfect fake life
our smile falls off
once we sleep

mother finds no love
for her lonely heart
I follow her footsteps
viewing the world from a small window

what a lonely life
I'm feeling blue
I see red

hand in hand
our hearts sink inside a perfume bottle

I saw death before. It isn’t still. It’s intense.

So yesterday when my stomach built itself into a sinking ship,

And my fingers were colonized by earthquakes,

I realized what you meant by “love hurts”.

My strong sea, my sweet spring,

I now know the ashy taste of your kisses, The salty reek of your definitions,

You read love poems just to read their ends.
