Autumn Rose
My true love and I
did meet
Down in the lavender garden
Long ago,
Oh, so long ago
When he told me to close my eyes
and listen to his lullaby.

My velvet dreams
were carried across the
melancholy air and finally found rest
in the same old lavender blue.
When he told me that only
in midsummer would the lavender bloom
just for me

My true love and I were deadly shades
in the night and caressed each other lovingly
Until my true love dropped off to sleep...

White orchid, my beautiful white orchid,
where have you innocently bloomed?

,, In the garden of dreams, but you picked
me up and gave me to a blue lady ,,

White orchid, my beautiful white orchid,
why are you now all yellow and drooped?

   *
*,, Because you forgot me when you saw
two white orchids only blooming in her eyes ,,

I'm On Fire

Shimmering, miasmic waves
of suffocating heat,
bounce off the scorching pavement
and distort the tortured street.

A toxic stew of asphalt sticks
to every tire and shoe,
as tar begins to bubble
'Tis "The Texas summer goo".

Oppressive heat beats downward
from relentless glaring sun.
Be wary of Apollo's malice!
Summer's just begun.
I'm melting, I'm melting.

".                          If
                         your
                 feeling really
            sad  let  your  tears
          go  it  will  make  you
          feel  so  much  better
           to open up the flood
              gates and just let
                    them flow
What is it to read and not understand

What is it to be related
and
yet not understood

What is to understand
As narrated
And not misinterpreted

That's pure bliss

Life
What is it to understand
Yet not able to take a
stand
That's the story of Life
Not Interpreted
As Narrated

Roses are red,
violets are NOT blue.
Who ever said they were is lying to you,
okay, maybe one can argue violets have a blue-ish hue,
but they are not all the way blue.
So stop saying violets are blue because that's not true.
Here's how it should go, so no more people are confused.

Roses are red,
Violets are purple.
