straying far into a wilderness
the cannons began their thunder
a lunar landscape buried the bones
of men and animals and enemies
joined together now in a slumber
while the birds started their singing
of days gone by hoping for a future
silent of guns death and slaughter

the truth about love is



          it leaves right when you are comfortable


the other truth is



          love is not forever no matter what they say


the truth about death is



          it doesn't even hurt that long


the final truth about it is



          *i hope mine is today

a way

an excuse
to do
exactly as One wishes.

That's how it works.

Harness the devious power of intention before it harnesses you.

I don't have a problem with
hipsters, goths, jocks,
skaters, rockers, preps,
farmers, plumbers, executives,
Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Caucasians,
gays, furries, bronies,
foodies, junkies, abstainers,
republicans, democrats,
atheists, monotheists, polytheists,
etc.

People are people.
So, why begrudge them that?

I do, however, have a problem with mean, hateful people
who's greatest joy comes in a form of shadenfreude.

Be who you are,
but don't impose your self-image onto others;
impose others onto your Self with a healthy dose of salt.
You may learn a thing or two.
