Who I am.

Who am I?
I'm a dreamer. I'm hopeful. I'm a bag of bones interconected with emotions, through my veins runs as much excitement as blood.

I am messy hair, small eyes and steady hands and my hair is as wild as me, and my small eyes catch all the  beauty hidden in the corners, and my steady hands become an earthquake when I'm about to be kissed.

I'm in my twenties. I'm a teenager in matters of love and I'm a grandma when taking care of my friends. I'm a beast when it comes to fighting and I'm the weakest when it comes to crying. I feel too much and show too little.

I'm a daughter, a sister and a friend. I'm worried. I'm anxious. I'm happy. I'm a rave as much as I'm a book and coffee. I talk until my voice fades but my mouth is a tomb for secrets.

I'm a writer and a reader. I'm a dancing machine and a shower singer.

I'm raising an eyebrow when I don't believe you. I'm a random kiss on the shoulder when I love you. I'm cafuné when I care for you.

I'm optimistic. I'm cautious. I'm becoming what I always wanted to be. I'm strongheaded and lighthearted. I'm in constant wait for the world to show me this is not it and fairytale endings exist.

You took everything
and returned to the scene
To take home some images of victory
and I knew too late what happend
Staring right into your eyes as the realization ended
All I could do was try to look anew
Attempting not to bleed right through
While I splashed about in shallow waters
I'll just have to learn how to go without
The shame in this game will never max out
and you left me there weeping
Sold me cutthroat trout
I ate it up
Gluttonously
Then spit out the bones of the person I used to be
She's so far from me
I ode to the quicksand beneath my feet
To the weasle who found a way into my keep
The racoon who robbed me so blind
and left me defiled morales
Now left behind and strung about
I graced him like a loser should
I fought but much too late I understood

I tried to
write
a poem about you
but instead
I scribbled a
big, orange-ink blob
and I figured
that made
just as much sense.

it's a curse
it's a blessing
unlike any other
to be so all alone
solitude is the key
and it is also the cell
given enough time
to work with ourselves
the visage shatters
and in each reflective fragment
we see the face of strangers
and old friends
flames past future and present
and oh,
now would you look at that
it appears as if human company
seems desirable,
no,
a necessity
but there's no way out of here
you signed your deal
a key
and a cell
right?
so you just go on
being alone
until you no longer have to

Your thoughts
are such powerful things.
They can corrupt
your mind and destroy you,
like poison,
if you let them.

And it’s so easy
to give in to.
The poison,
it’s addicting,
intoxicating.
The sorrow
so tragically inviting.

The bottomless abyss
you so willingly
return to
feels more like home
than any lover
you've ever clung to,

and more comfortable
than all your attempts
to dig your way
into their rib cage,
to try and find
a place to settle down,

with foolish hopes
of filling that emptiness
in your heart, which
you carry around so heavily,
that these pathetic attempts
will ultimately create inevitably.

When are you two going to stop being kids?

Grow up,

see those looking up at you,

and at least act like you love each other.
Hatred
Bred from
False lies
Hate in your soul
Causing
You to unhappily die
You see
Hate is not pure
And your hate
I know for sure
Your desires buried
By this loathing
I'm glad your gutless
Because it keeps you away
But still I know
It'd be better for us both
If your hatred wasn't so determined to stay.
Noooo idea
