Haydn Swan
I see the man who sleeps under the bridge,
he sings my song,  doesn't subscribe to your point of view,
lives between the gaps,  in places you've never seen,
he doesn't see the flag you wave,
nor cares to carry the message it bears
he see's the powers that be watching you fall,
marching to the beat of the new democracy,
freedom from the back of your privilege class,
while we all walk on the broken glass,
he hears the birds sing of a call to arms,
high in the tree's beyond your ivory towers,
through his tears we see it's time for a change,
as the wind blows through your corridors of power,
I'll search for the man who sleeps under the bridge.

falling
i love you.
you, my friend,
are something
      special,
something different.
you, in some sense,
        saved me.
like bright lights
on warm water reflecting
            auburn.
I found myself,
in spite of my love for
                 you.
auburn love in the depth
of winter is what we are,
                     were.
I love you in colors
I can't describe, see or even
                          feel.
though as seasons go
feelings seem to, I suppose,
                          change.
and once again here we
go around and around,
                     dancing.
dancing numb hoping love
is still vibrant and radiant in
                  color.
no longer dull,
in black, white or stubborn
             grey.
I fall and I fall, into the
rhythm of our waltz,
         alone.
we spin in circles
around the issues of
       love.
I love you and
I've loved you but yet
   I lost you.

erica court
i smile for now;

we hang out for awhile

just on the couch

no white forests, no cute chocolate boxed romances

no notes, all smiles and all pearly white teeth

with less words and letting hours elongate

silent stares, you let me know you've fallen

                        in love with        my        lips

and         for one, i think i        am just fine with        that

before yesterday becomes the same as tomorrow

i think i'm okay with you and i

                                        for now;
sorry i havent posted in foreverrr
