Awareness is everything
But, we must be willing to open our eyes
For they do not see everything
Moments often catch us by surprise
The unpredictability of life
Often puts us in this position
So thought provoking
Nothing but an inquisition
The fickleness of life
Often takes our breath away
Confusion and frustration
Makes its appearance each day
When we lack awareness
It can lead to total chaos
Filled with bewilderment
Some of us may appear to be lost
The rooks
Waddling
Up the roof tiles
Like drunken men

(April’s full moon)

~

her beauty always
catches me unprepared
her reflection is
a poet’s muse
and as so oft before
tonight again, i pause
and wonder long...
"who else, my love,
is watching you?"

~

post script.

along with watching April’s moon grow full these last few nights, Sally’s poem is tonight my muse. thank you, dear sister, and friend!

**“Full Pink Moon – April This name came from the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring.”
I have faith
that the sun will rise
after the darkest nights.
I know in my heart
that the sun will kiss my skin
after the coldest winter.
I will not be discouraged
by thunderstorms and hurricanes.
I will walk into the storm,
and dance like the wind
in the pouring rain.
~ have faith ~
So jubilant and jovial
Because, she has risen to the top
Fighting her way through the battle
And being stellar in the workshop
Many obstacles were thrown in her direction
But, she stepped forward in a positive light
Never the one to be discouraged
She kept her poise and made her world bright
Girl, we rise and shine together
Taking things one day at a time
Situations may be chaotic
But, we must find a way to keep everything in line
The more we communicate with one another
The more of a serene nature there is at home
Nothing but peace and harmony
Together, we can weather the storm
