Together:

Your warm embrace wraps around my torso,
warmth creeps through my heart and soul,
and my arms immediately wrap around yours.
This ever so perfect moment, will never be forgotten.

It was the first time we hugged.

As we took in each other's embrace once more,
our lips collided passionately,
though instantaneously we pulled back.
Our gaze met, and we closed in slowly... and blissfully.

As of this day, we are officially, and graciously,

*Together.
Something I wanted to write, on behalf of one of my closest friends.

Emotions,
I pushed you aside,
I pushed you to the edge,
I left you,

You left me,
You left the world

Emotionless,*
You lay there emotionless
Loveless,  Fearless, Heartless
At home within yourself,
Within your emotionless body,
And yet,
Lost in a world full of emotions,
This poem I wrote to describe one of the scariest moments I have ever experienced in my life. When we lose our emotions we cease to care or love, having emotions is to be human without them we are nothing but empty shells of darkness.

I was left alone,
In this harsh world,
Feeling betrayed and unwanted.

I sat there,
Waiting for him to come back,
But as time passed,
My emotions were starting to be stripped away from me.

By the time he came back,
I was already emotionless.

The only thing I could feel was hurt.

I was hurt because he left,
But one thing that hurt most was not knowing what love felt like anymore.

The feelings you have when you love one person,
Or the love you receive from your one and only.

They were all lost in a split second.
This is something that I felt, or didn't feel during that period of time. I was devastated to know that I didn't know how to love for a short period of time. I just hope that it doesn't happen again.
