Tryst

My love it breaks my heart to see you cry
But love the time has come when I must fly
This world holds many wondrous things to do
And so my love I cannot stay with you
I hope you can forgive me in good time
Someday I will return to make you mine
The future yet unknown will be our past
And fate alone decides a lover's path

+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

a river flowing tears unto the sea
away away to never trouble me
such tiny things, each worthless on its own
how weak one seems when one is all alone
yet in good time the weak will cease to be
alone without true love for company
the future yet unknown will be our past
and fate alone decides a lover's path

The Whisper
Your smile is so innocent, but I see every crease.
Every scar and every wrinkle that tell a very interesting story.
I understand that the smile that appears before me today,
Was once lost in a valley of tears and sorrow.
Hidden in a lost city of pain and regret.
Searching for the strength to appear once again.

I question it's sincerity; whether your smile is forced or true.
Nonetheless, it's something that's so lovely on you.
It hides all your pain; masking your scars.
Hiding your tears and concealing your fears.
When I see that smile, I deny what is true.
I wouldn't mind falling for a girl like you.
Self-explanatory.

Take a moment
and look at your hands.
look at the lines
more creases and folds than a dismantled paper airplane
you can look into hands and see the future
those creases read like a map
and in the distance between your fingers lies a novel.
With fingers intertwined you can pray
and you can love.
you can beckon melodies from the belly of pianos
and scrawl poetry on shredded napkins
you can punch and scratch and fight
you can revolt
you can deliver Shakespeare
you can place blame
and you can nurture
you can wave hello
and you can wave goodbye
but remember they are the same motion
wiggle your fingers
count them
10
a perfect round number
take a look at the miraculous work of art at the end of your wrists
put them to use
embrace
high five
fist bump
use them to make art
dance
music
fight injustice
celebrate your victories
and help those around you.
with those two hands and ten fingers
the world is yours.

take a moment and look at your hands
and notice how you don't need a mirror to see yourself.

Your smile is like the sunrise.
Gradually, you light up the world;
the luminescence is taken away
all the same.
Even when you're not bright as day,
your spellbinding light shines through.
An infinate glow radiates around you.

Maybe if I step on
enough flowers
or break
enough
hearts
I just might forget
I'm made of broken parts
my fave piece </3

White paint peels off to leave the walls bare,
naked and exposed to
elements.
Much like her soul.
Starved of love and affection,
accepted but not wanted.
Tolerated.
The sun casts her shadows on those
she frowns upon,
leaving winding roads to spiral out of control.
Time shifts her world from
it's axis as it progresses,
it doesn't heal,
it doesn't lessen,
It just is.
Echoes of your voice ricochets
to find her heart,
carrying the exact weight they
did the second they fled your tongue,
never shedding an ounce of momentum

"The waves of pain
that had only lapped at her
before now
reared up high and pulled her under .."
