Every time you
leave me it hurts
more
hurts more
hurts like a hammer
on my shins, the
very definition of
shambles. I almost
told you to come
back and I'm so
glad I didn't.
I'm in love with you,
though, so I hope you
come back on your
own.

Earthchild
The way it looks like the clouds are Reaching down to Earth
I love the way the rain makes my dress Cling to my chest
When it lands on the curve of my lip

I run into the howling wind
Howling against the wind and rain
Lungs louder than a wolf

Wind tugging on my long blonde hair
Rain mixing with my laughter
I throw my head back to smile at sky
Liquid cloud trailing down my neck
Watering the blooming trees in my skin

I feel so alive and fresh
I'm really bipolar with my emotions and writing sometimes SORRY

liking roses
when they
started to
grow out
of my
wrists

Je dirais je t'aime mais je me suis pas enseigné à aimer les choses qui quittent
french makes all of my thoughts sound beautiful when they sound like nothing but nightmares to me

ask your blood
your limbs, your breathing feet
what Poetry is -
a phylogenetic anomaly
in light’s discontinuity

or just…
the strange yearning of hematopoiesis

ask the silence in your lungs
the bursting DNA, reinterpreted
how it allures memory inside your bones
how it treads conventions of sleep
with the weight of a sigh

if you ask me
what Poetry is
I’d say: breath calligraphy
a winged dream of depth
on enchanted retina
the bitter-sweet art of airy harmony

ask your hands
what Poetry is
perhaps they’ll take a moment
to bloom

and like all
beautiful
things i
wanted to
start you
over so that
your beauty
would
belong to
me instead.
what i never
realized was
that your
beauty
was still
growing.
