Ashly Kocher
Daydreaming
Head in the clouds
Rising with the sun
Sliding down a rainbow
After a sudden down pour of rain
Landing on the beach
Is my happy place
While I sit back and relax
Writing poems for days
My little friends will join me
Seashells, Palm trees and little lizards too
Warmth of the sun from high in the sky
I got my head in clouds
Daydreaming of a good time for once in my life...

cosy sleep under wraps,
listening rain’s symphony;
life in half a dream!

Back to the grind of work so it is
Stress level is already high, my boiling point is about to fizz
Relaxation and fun in the sun has come to an end
Think happy thoughts and fly me back to where our journeyhad come to an end
Look for the star
Close your eyes
Make a wish
Hold on to it oh so tight
Your dreams are within reach
If you just believe
Our happy ending is just you and me

Dream of Heaven
     when there is when
Dream of Earth
     when flowers bend
Dream of People
     when each one need
Dream of Treasures
     when not for greed
Dream of Seasons
     when one is new
Dream of Friendship
     when they were true
Dream of Peace
     when wrath is end
Dream of Love
     when two are meant
Dream of Hope
     when one is taught
Dream of Found
     when one has lost
Dream of Light
     when there is dawn
Dream of Dreams
     when all is gone
Dream On Poets... Nothing Can Stop you...

A precious, single wildflower
All alone in a field
Of plush-green,

Ineludible beauty,
She stands-out in this meadow,
More beautiful than anything
My naked eyes
Have ever seen.

Alone, she stands tall,
Drawn to the sunlight,
Her beauty radiant
Like the sun,

As the sun sets,
On the plush-green blanket,
Gently she rests her fragile head;
Her moonlight dreams
Have now begun.

echo
Here
in the secret
stillness
My feet in the water
Waiting to bloom
...
thought I was a songstress
weaving ribbons
into the air
but
maybe Esteem,
her whisperings
lied to me

Mankind can no longer discern
Between the night time and the day
There is no black there is no white
Black and white have turned to gray

Isaiah 5:20
Please read this verse and think about what's happening in our world today.

oh-the-oddities
to dream is a bliss,
to imagine is happiness.
fantasy is a wonderland
filled with duets and slow dances.
a colorful place it is
with trees and bright flowers throughout
complete with perfectly light blue skies.
but
somehow,
reality found its way
and pierced right through,
creating deep holes and gaps
that
you
just
can't
fill
those holes will forever remind you that
it can never be real
reality is a dull world filled with never-ending dark storms and withered flowers.
to dream is a bliss,
yet
to daydream forever slowly becomes a nightmare
full of such lethal pleasures.
and so
as i break my wistful trance,
i find myself in an abyss called life
where no one knows when they'll hit rock bottom.
i look up in the sky,
patiently waiting for the storms to end
wishing to find a rainbow.
phew, it's been nearly 2 months since i posted anything but anyways, here  it is!!

Marian
Down a peaceful, quiet lane
The two-story farmhouse awaits
Bathed in evening hues
Of rich lavenders, pinks,
And dusty apricot
The lilac scented breezes blow
Whispering stories of summer
Let me dance in pastures
Of buttercups and wild daisies
Where horses graze contentedly
And Virginia bluebells sway
Where time becomes stuck
And lets me live this golden moment
Just once more
