I hear You
As the morning rays kiss the window sills,
As I awake while my bedsheets
Are no longer on my skin.

I hear You
As the last drop of water runs into my ear,
Like anointing on my head —
As a lamb waits for his master’s hands.

I hear You
As the birds keep chirping as they glide,
Some fly high while some stay on trees,
But both of them never worry about what to eat.

I hear You
As the moon boasts its fullness
I was mesmerized by its glory,
And so he arises at night, no darkness is hidden.

There are lives taken,
Also, lives were shaken;
There are lives missing,
Also lives mourning.

We pay no penny
For the world to rush death;
But we’re humans with feelings
Gettin’ hurt, losing breath.

There’s news that seems new
But looking back, they’re too old.
There’re fears that still haunt us back
There’re nightmares out of loss.

There’re moments when we cry,
But they're no tears in our eyes.
And moments when we shout,
But we become mute in disguise.

There’re those who laugh so hard,
With their peers sheltered in their eyes.
And there’re those who speak of freedom
While having murmurs with white lies.

When in pain, we’re like standing by:
We’re both waiting and wanting —
Waiting for the rescue
That we ponder elsewhere to barter.
And wanting this unending pain to halt —
To simply leave our empty shells;
For we’ve fought hard enough.

But in pain, we have known comfort
No firm faith to distort.
We’ve tasted deliverance from hard grips;
Surely there’s peace of mind in hardships.

We’ve known love while viciously longing
For everything on whole, we consider as a calling.
We begin to surrender our broken pieces,
Prayers turning down tragedies into ashes.

We begin —
Not to put emphasis on our weaknesses,
But rather mention the Name
Who has called us into complete holiness.

If all of these was sudden,
If all of these have agenda to make,
If all of these are part of the whole,
Then it has a name to be unfolded.

And if all of these has a Name —
Then this must be the sound of the breaking
But in the breaking, there is unity;
And there is Jesus, knocking on our entity.

May you always be bless, and your life touch.
May you always feel others pain and love them.
May all of your hurt, always be used in your poems.
So that others may be healed by your poems here.
May your own pain be healed now and forevermore.
May your love always be in every single poem you write.
Also may the readers always see your love in them all.
May you always be bless, by seeing others healed too.
May your life be used as a testimony of Christ healing.

In times like this
When the rain pours as I ponder,
My soul is stilled in Your lullabies.
You're too beautiful,
Your grace is ever sufficient.

I dream to cuddle in Your grace
And there Your Spirit dwells in me.
I ask no more blessing from You
But a simple plea to be at my side.

Your presence is my rescue,
I can put away everything except You.
You're my hope to last forever
Your mist of love is engraved in my soul.

I ask You not to leave me
And so hold me closer in Your mercy.
Jesus, Your Name is higher
My tears, like rain, overflows
At the mention of Your Name.

You are Lord forever
And so the rest of this world You value so much.
Sometimes, I'm forgetful of You
Sometimes, I lack trust in You
But You're faithful, Lord.

You are raised to life
You are my rest
You're my shield
There's no adornment in Your Name
Yet You're still the Most of the "world's most."

Today, I thank You, God
Today, I praise You
Today, You keep me
Today, You see me as Your child.

Oh Lord, my cry is from the depths of my heart
I burst into longing for You
And then, hold me again
In the palm of Your hands
I shall rest assured.

Thank You, Jesus,
I remember You
Keep me, Lord
As I hold on to my faith in You.

Be there with me Lord,
as I climb the mountain;
as I struggle onward,
to drink from Your true fountain.

Give me strength from sinning,
give me a touch of grace;
keep me on the narrow path,
that leads right to Your place.

Let me be forgiving Lord,
from injuries received;
give me Your just wisdom,
from which I'm not deceived.

Give me a heart that's full of love,
for every human being;
let me be Your shining light,
of strangers I am seeing.

Be there with me Lord,
still my insurrection;
and don't forget my soul,
on my day of resurrection!
