Having someone to share your pain with doesn't always necessarily make the pain any less...but what it does is that it helps you to deal with the pain better...i sometimes miss having such a person in my life('coz there are some kind of pains that you can't share with everyone)...so all i can do is write and i must admit it makes me feel lighter if not better...i guess it's a way of just clearing my head, refreshing my soul and letting it all out...at times it gets hard to do so but it's like this constant suffocation i seem to suffer from until and unless i write and share a part of me...and once i have shared it i feel this strong sense of relief and satisfaction...it's like my soul is at peace again.

words can change movements at micro levels
which in turn can change the World

Pathways opened
through doors unhinged

Journey travelled
with roads unworn

Magic unbound
from spells unchanted

Heartbeats birthed
but the heart's unborn

•••

Verses recited
from a poem unpenned

A song sung
but lyrics unwritten

A dance performed
with routine unrehearsed

Feelings perceived
through words unspoken

Here in this place where I once played,
midst memories now cast aside
The clouds my worthless life has made,
rain down in teardrops I have cried
Thank you to all of my friends here who have supported and encouraged me. I appreciate each and every one of you.  I hope I have shown you the same kindness you have always shown me. This will be my last for while, I need some time to figure out who I am and how I became that person. Thanks again.

If Life was black and white
I'd be dating you, right
for we are both lonely
I can tell from the melancholy
in the pieces you write.
We're both broken
and we have enough
words to fix each other
If only love was red and pink
the flooding passion you have
*would not only end in ink.

WRITING BAREFOOT

Being frisked
at Dublin airport.

"What's dat in yer
back pocket?"

"An unfinished poem!"
I admit ruefully.

"Is it metal?"
he asks.

"No, it's mental!"
I tell him.

"You know, a bunch of words
hanging about on a piece of paper."

"Go on with ya!"
he smirks.

"And next time...
remove yer shoes."

On the plane I
kick off my shoes and

finish off the unfinished
poem.

Now I
always write barefoot.

This spirit of love
which moves
independent of Man
is a sky, a sea,
a green hill, where a cottage sits
-snug squat with candle flame
and peat fire
warming light through eyed
small Georgian windows
this love is smoke
making its merry way
over breezing sea
and clouds unique never
to be seen twice
this love is free, slave to no one,
not even poets.
