you've created beautiful madness
deep down inside of me

explored my vacant doors
inciting flames that burn eternally

madness like torrential rains
drowning me from head to toe

however did you find the key of me
I want to ask but I don't need to know

just keep captivating my madness
invade and trust me with all of you

plant your love inside my heart
and I will eternally harvest you

We step into existence from beyond the veil
With our fate stamped upon our souls.
Marking distinctions between science and faith
We find ourselves advancing through the cycle of life.
The Leapster or Leap Year baby
Shares a joke with the cosmos
Flouting our concept of time
To be born within times eternal spring
In life's cycle of ever green
We look to the stars
In order to be seen.

Take this marble
With it carve out my soul

With chisel in hand
scribe my purpose

Engrave it in gold
Then hide it away

Keep it in the dark
For me to find one day

Whispering into an envelope
It is sealed and slipped under your door
A small gift of song
An imperfect thing
Quiet and unassuming between ears
A sound which I’ve had and heard a thousand times before
And more and more
As it becomes
And in becoming yours

The little boy has many good friends

But his laughter and joy isn't where this story begins

It begins with a violent family and a tabby cat

And a misleading welcome mat

Tears and sorrow were all he saw

Until a man came and took him afar

Tiny and lonely the little boy grew

As he listened and watched how the blue bird flew

Bigger and stronger the little boy would grow

As he made friends with the injured crow

Healing and beauty was taught to the boy

And this is when he received his first ever toy

The little boy got big as he wrote and read

Watching over him was the crow he fed

After many years and many of a heartbreak

The little boy had found one which his heart she would take

Many years later was the little boy

All grown up and full of joy

His beloved gave him two little boys

Which he cared for and gave many, many  toys

He watched over this little family of three

He watches now as he will watch for eternity

The once injured crow that the little boy made friends

His eyes he will forever lend

They will tell you
All poetry has been written
There is nothing new
Under the moon
But let me tell you
They don’t know you
You are as unique
As the DNA that exists
Within your frame
The ripples on your thumbprint
No one ever had the same.

Listen...

You have something to say
Say it proudly
Say it boldly
Never let them scold you.

Never let them make you go away.
I love it when someone tells me to keep writing. You should keep writing too!
