take it in.
the sunset that seems to be so close yet so far.
the dark outline of the familiar lighthouse.
and the ocean waves.
the beautiful, blue waves.
gently lapping over another wave.
but i can only stay for a bit.
i have places to be.

Never has the wind been
Softer,
Never was a day like this
More stirring,
Cherry blossoms
Unfold,
Old life becomes new,
Unseen movement
Brings about
Tranquil forces,
Leaves are sailboats
Crossing,
Reflections in a pool
Cattails watch in silence
Standing outside outlines,
All around its border,
This feeling inside
Speaks of
Solace and smells
Of springtime.
Just a little poem about the beauty of spring.  Winter was dark, cold, and a little rainy. This weather is welcomed.

seasons change
people grow
i crave summer heat
and dread the winter snow
it all goes by so fast
quicker than you’ll ever know
but what haunts me the most,
i saw you come
and watched you go.

Down comes the rain
Washing away all hope
It stays in vain
And left my heart broke

It floods all my dreams
And leaves me shivering, cold
Because there are no more sun beams
To keep me warm

Thick, grey clouds coat the sky
So the sun cant peer through
And the atmosphere cries
Sending thunderstorms, and showers too

But out of the blue
Rising from the ground
Something that's bound to the earth, flowers

Their roots dig deep
And their petals beam with colour
Their leaves flutter in the wind
Their elegant scents dance in your nose
Something so simple yet so beautiful

May the flowers remind us
Why the rain was so necessary.
basically a long metaphor about how the rain is the difficult things in life, but if you push through great things will come(flowers)

I will spread dirt into every crevice of my broken heart and plant flowers so big and beautiful, that their roots will mend all the shattered pieces back together, and you’ll never be able to see the mess I used to be.
