The sky full of stars;
the night is calling my name.
Stardust in my veins.

I guess I just want something deep,
I no longer want some flimsy fantasy
Spending my time dreaming of what could be
I want to take my time to get to know
Every shining quality like the stars of my beau
It would be just the two of us
Wrapped within the warmth of summer's arms
Forever in a cocoon
Feeling safe, and we would even dare to dream
that we would continue on forever unharmed
Protected in the amniotic sac of our love
Simultaneously grounding us
And shooting us up into the stars

Something so deep,
Tethering me to sanity
And ungrounding me to possibility
Weaving within my very veins the certainty of my lover's loyalty
And at the same time reveling within romantic spontaneity
Oh, how sweet and uncalculated this fine and complex dance of living can be
Spinning in rehearsed circles and always coming back to the heart of all the things that could be and ever will be
And yet my life is a mere breeze
On a desert plain
Blowing away the sands of both my happiness and pain
And what else could I say,
Except it's been a beautiful, heart wretching, eye opening, wisdom gaining, heart expanding ride?
And when I find this love of mine,
Our love will defy the very concept of time
We will have love that is so deep
That it will continue on into eternity.

She loved Pan,
Adored him,
Wanted so much for him to
Dwell,
Deep,
Within her
But Tink,
so small
And Pan,
Well, he was Pan
He loved the Wendi Bird
So,
Tink
was happy for the mere chance
to rest
in Pan's pocket
And he carried her there.....
For you, my Pan. I'm happy, just to rest in your pocket and see you as I wish;)

There's more to a woman than her body and curves.  At the core of her brain is a thunderstorm that rains down wisdom, knowledge, and understanding flooding the soul of man with love in it's truest form.
There's more to a woman than her physical beauty.  She's a living breathing ocean with waves of compassion leaping from the depths.  Sweeping man up in her current allowing him to swim in her essences that is woman.

The heart of a champion
Willing to go through the battle
With such zeal and vigor
Always one to persevere
What courage she has
With a warrior like attitude
Handling situations with class and dignity
And showing her gratitude

writing about you is difficult.
every cliche comes to mind but i dont write those
because who wants to hear it and besides,
you deserve originality.
the truth is i have so much i want to say to you
and yet not a single consonant leaves my regretful tongue.
some poet i am.
i could write a poem just about your eyes
and another one about how much beer you drink.
i dont think either would really hit the spot.
you are a complex being that i tangle
myself up in every other night.
i stroke your hair and beg for kisses
unable to think about anything but how good
your skin feels against mine.
and yet when you ask me what i like about you,
i flounder again and again.
it would be so easy for me just to say
i love how observant you are,
how you love the rain almost as much as me,
how i love when you hold my hand,
and how i love that you seem like you need me.
its simple and yet when you ask,
my mind goes blank and i fail to make you happy.
i guess thats always my worry though--
making you happy.
but here i am,
writing about it instead of telling you.

The Navigator stands
at the top of the hill,
a spotlight illuminating the fog,
looking for a direction.

The stars are gone,
another moonless night,
all he has is his intuition
and questionable insight.

And so the dance of change begins

Moving outward
while moving in

Like a blind man at a drive through atm,
wondering how he got there,
listening for a sparkle
looking for an animal spirit in the dark.

There are cliffs and caverns
sinkholes and canyons
along the way

He's been known to fall
and rise again -
while heading towards the river

The Navigator, he is an expert
on moving in the darkness
looking for that one flash
our lives on display

The Navigator, he knows the signs,
sometimes right sometimes wrong

The paths have many directions to follow
But with the first step
all other paths
fade away.

Decisions are made

The Navigator, he has his day,
his way.
