Standing on the corner where all oceans end
Teaching starfish how to fly high up into the sky
And giving them words to sing of lullaby and dream
A never ending task as the starfish come and go
As wishes take their light and life
And they fall back into the breaking waves and mist
To take a moments rest from twinkling through eternal night
Until they feel the soft touch of the hand
Of the girl at oceans end

I religion in the forest
I worship what I see
the majesty of mountains
the purity of the sea

I am the deity
along with four legged creatures
and night owls
the serpentine slither

I claim no following
for all is known is
my memory

my sight my empathy my love my being
and I sit on a log
and worship this orb

like a true believer
that I am the creation
the superstar the reason
the prejudice

the forbearing

all I see all I hear is inside
so inside must be god
the visions
are but tricks

and I sit on that log and watch
the river flow and the storms grow
and sunrises

and get it
I am the screen
to a movie

and what I make of it
is all

chancellor say  it to her
romance her
make her melt
take a chance I bet
when you use those practiced words
and spell correctly her name
use it in a sentence
take a bit of sky day or night
like sun or moon or stars
and wrap it around her chilled shoulder
take her hand in yours
lead her into that garden under the balcony next to
the veranda
where you pre arranged the violinist
and the stars magnificence
dude, you gonna get laid

I am a woman , I should be timid - They say
I am a human , I know no limit  - I say,

My existence is not meant for your judgment
Crushing me is not a sign of your triumphant,

My love for you has always been abundant
Why am I the one to make all the adjustments,

Look into my eyes , you'll see a twinkle
Savaging it , is so sinful,

My demand for freedom makes you reluctant
Clothed in societal norms , I have to bear its repercussion,

How are the governing laws so different for Both
What makes you so nervous of my growth,

Why do I have to fight for what is my right
Why do you enjoy my plight,

Being submissive is declared my attire
No one hears what my heart desires,

I am not the one to dance on your note
I am a volcano that erupts on my own,

I don't demand anything extraordinary
All I seek is equality,

Equality to Breathe without fear
Equality to be safe my dear!!!!!
A tribute to Equality of a woman

'Tis not always spelled in letters,
'Tis not always said in words,
'Tis not always sung in notes,
Loud enough to be heard.
'Tis not always writ in sands,
Nor frosted window panes,
'Nor engraved on precious stones,
Ornate jeweled chains.
'Tis not always spilled on paper,
Nor carved on barks of trees,
The language of love,
'Tis more than words can be.
It might ne'er be understood,
Or perhaps deftly read,
For much of what is love,
May pass away unsaid.
But 'tis there in tenderness,
Longing wistful eyes,
A heart that lights up,
Every moment love comes by.
'Tis there in a gentle hold,
A shoulder kind enough,
Caring thoughts that sail you through,
Choppy seas, weathers rough.
'Tis coloring you a happy pink,
When the world grey's a blue,
Love is more than words can say,
Love is more than 'I love you'.

Casting spells in a song of lust
with such beauty undenied.
He's chased her half a lifetime
and have lost but all his pride.

Sailing all the oceans blue
He's left his ship dashed on the rocks.
Begging for that enchanted kiss
from his mermaid as she mocks.

Her voice to call within a gale
scent heady upon the waves.
Nets shredded trying to capture her
yet every night he craves.

To nary catch a fleeting glimpse
of her golden hair or tail.
He's chased her 'cross the storming seas
as winds and rain did wail.

Forever calling out her name
He's come to rest in every port.
On moonlit nights he hears her song
attempts to see her, she does thwart.

The scent of salt does show his years
but still he sails to her song.
Forever on the shifting waves
is where his heart belongs.
