why do we hate
what we have
when we sacrificed ourselves
for what we have

you wished to have
what you have
now it’s poison
what you have

“Greater than the acquisition of poetry I cannot envisage,
Poetry enters ones heart and soul brings life to one’s melancholy,
It can come into your life leaving you with a promise of future,
So that one will be clutched to affiance of poetic peroration
I am now that which is clutched to such an affiance,
As that of a nest in the tree clenched to sapling twigs,
And so I shall vow to accept this affiance for all perpetuity”

post me an oath

of sorrow from your soul

But not all truths are facts
You could spend all day measuring string
You can also go bet at the tracks

People will believe what they want
It doesn't make it any less true
But when you find the fact of the matter
You'll be digging up the rest of the crew

A captain can sink with his ship
That's what my mother would say
But that captain will never see daylight again
Unless someone else is willing to pay

It is the dumb hour of night
Bereft of all maneuvers
Shadows have come and gone
Spending their agendas
The canvas bland as space
Drapes mute and motionless
As hidden truths
Not a stroke felt
Not a single word flickers
Off intersecting ink
There must be a gale
Deep into the mind
Winnowing
Chaffs of memory.
