Ignorant are the people,
who brush off the most sincerest of hellos
or the genuine gratitude of someone else.

Apathetic are the people,
who has seen yet have not done.
Witnessing so much
yet reluctant to take action.

Cowardly are the people,
who inundate their catharsis
on the well being of someone else.
A life so useless they find joy
only in the torturing of others;
spending futile days
living as sad, pathetic sadists.

And myopic are the kind,
for they are clearly aware of what’s bad for them
yet they are too blind to listen to their heads
only to follow their hearts.
stupid hearts.
Sorry, this poem is rather pessimistic but
I just had to channel some candid thoughts

What we need to do now, perhaps,
is learn to look at each other
through unbroken windows.

I wonder what it would feel like
to rid,
dispense,
of my own body,
and travel hovering around in my soul,
to see myself through the eyes of someone else.

I wonder how others perceive me,
I wonder how they see me now,
as opposed to how they would see me
in a world of unbroken windows
Just some thoughts, probably going to edit it later

But the silence speak louder than words.
Sometimes, the silence screams.

Fog
She creeps quietly
into the dim lights of the city
inundating gentle delicate thoughts
into a deluged gray haze,
lingering vacantly in fragile minds,
and drifts over towns like an overcast of curtains
like a nebulous blanket
for she leaves with an air of mystery
on little silent cat feet
Fog comes and goes as she pleases,
on silent cat feet

I hope the weather here get's better,
it's been raining nonstop for two weeks! It's so depressing outside :(

Just as spring is life reborn after winters chill,
I also want to be reborn
And be a child again

I want to leave this adult world, return to distant memories
Leave this hectic modern life
And be a child again

Imagine as an eight year old, no worries to sear your mind
Every day a new adventure
I want to be a child again

Who's here now to comfort me when worry tears apart my heart?
When I was young it was my mum and dad
Oh how I long to be a child again

Take me back to my childhood days, take me back to my early years
Take me back to where I long to be
*So I can be a child again
I think secretly most of us wish we could be transported back to our childhood days from time to time

Shel Silverstein
Said the little boy, "Sometimes I drop my spoon."
Said the old man, "I do that too."
The little boy whispered, "I wet my pants."
"I do that too," laughed the little old man.
Said the little boy, "I often cry."
The old man nodded, "So do I."
"But worst of all," said the boy, "it seems
Grown-ups don't pay attention to me."
And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand.
"I know what you mean," said the little old man.

Try to imagine being dead,
With nothing running
Through your head,
But worms and water
And other things.
Your eyes are closed,
Your ears are stopped,
All your orifices corked up
So you don't smell
Or make a fuss
As the living outline
Your casket.
You lie in state,
But there's no wait,
The line-up starts with you.

Dad made a kite
Out of paper and wood
And a white, ripped up sheet for a tail.
We all watched with wonder when without any wind
He could make his kite rise up and sail!
The trick, he would tell us
Is to run just a bit, then let the string play out just so.
There is wind up above us that you cannot see
It will make the kite rise up and go.

Up went his kite
High up over the trees
And soon it was up with clouds.
It dipped, skipped and twirled as he tightened his rein
“It’s DANCING!” we shouted out loud!
The kite, he would tell us
Responds to your touch, don’t hold it too loose or too tight.
Be forgiving, yet firm, let it fly by itself
And most times it will turn out all right.

Dad gave the kite
To the youngest child there,
And the rest of us waited our turn.
The kite soared, then collapsed; our confidence too
Dad taught; we attempted to learn.
Life, he would tell us
Is like flying a kite, you hold on but you cannot control.
Don’t let a failure or lack of success
Stop you from reaching your goal.

Be like the kite
Reach as high as you can
Set your goals high, and dance with the clouds!
Respect and remember the wind you can’t see.
It’s your Faith that will make others proud.
Faith, he would tell us
Is the courage to fly, and belief in a Presence unseen.
But most of all Faith is the strength to go on
When your kite gets stuck high in a tree.
