I have a plan.
I haven’t made it yet
but I plan on making a plan.
So that’s the plan…

At daystar distance, light-time 9.2
Reached orbit of a lonely little sphere
Inhabitants, galactic refugees
Lost beings fled for working atmosphere

From orbit I observe a solid wall
Bisecting the small planet into two
Is this the same as walls they made at home?
Before, their earth in ruin, they withdrew

Remote-scan sensors indicate two groups
One group in light brown garb, and one in beige
Communities uncoupled by the wall
No circumstantial need to co-engage

The beings take position near the wall
Their blasters in the air, as if to war
Will need a closer look to understand
Assembling ground crew for a recon tour

Away Team One have scouted both the camps
And both took great attention to explain
That cosmic contrasts sit between the two
So never to be reconciled again

The 'Northers', in their light brown town, *****
To Iris, God of Moon, a monument
The eye a symbol of this watching one
A stone displays his holy document

‘O God of cycles, ebb and flows of life,’
The stone acclaims this lunar deity
The tablet smooth on left, and rough on right
Abiding token of fertility

The 'Southers', in their beige, build one as well
But this, a shrine to Os, the God of Bones
His sigil skull expresses loss and death
Indelibly recorded on his stone

‘O God of dying, born of earth and sky,
Hereafter and rebirth as well as death’
This stone that sits adorned with crook and flail
--is baby-smooth on right, and rough on left

Away Team One weaved worry through their tale,
A looming war was set to decimate
So, find a concrete plan to intervene
And hope and pray that we are not too late

Away Team Two report the wild events
This sphere will be immortalised in verse
For these effects of war upon this day
So tracked that all our plans could not reverse

The first explosives wall-bound from great arms
Start slowly causing breech and then a fall
The northern and the southern lands revealed
Sameness no longer hidden by the wall

And for the first time see the glory stones
Sit, monument atop, aloft on shrine
An eery match in form and font and voice
A paired, reflected hail to the divine

An astral silence, weapons come to rest
Then reverent 'Northers' fetch their hallowed stone
While devout 'Southers' hold their tablet too
A meeting reuniting moon and bone

And suddenly as tablets are aligned
The warriors unblinded to the con
Of holy tablets two, and each with God
At origin the two were only one

The beings face-to-face now with their God
Examining the reassembled tome
Not Os and Iris, but Osiris there
A single God writ on a single stone

So smaller differences in brown and beige
And seeming larger gaps from death to birth
Now seen complete, more holy as their whole
       Dualities reflected in one soul
Now possible a new united earth

Here you can write of many things
Of happiness or sad
Or like me write of creaking bones
And the good times that I've had
Our poetry speaks of many things
Some good and some so bad
Of deep emotions held inside
Some things that make you sad
You see your words will cross a thousand miles
Some distant person will understand
So take up the pen and write the words
And become a better man.
You see Jus Me poetry can become a release of emotions, better here than on some therapists couch. Here we come from all walks of life, here some person 10 thousand miles away will always understand....Joe

Summer Days Soakin up the rays
*******’,even a Barney wants to stay
Snag a cool parking Space praise
Hang Loose Lollygag purple haze

Trust me Sand gets in every crack
Small price to pay for where we’re at
Bro Giggle Wiggle into the wetsuit
Stoked Complaints are resolute

I was a clucked, clam dragger, **** dragger
Paddlepuss with sketchy haggar form
Watching for the men in Grey suits
Radical sick, yes too much time in the soup.

Dawn patrol Bro 5am pound the sand
Wax the deck with *** wax brand
Paddle out cup your hand
First wave of the day hang ten stand

Clean wave, no mashburgers Rico  grand
Sunburn fades to a golden tan
Something quick to eat in hand
Plenty of water, flip-flops hot sand

Tricks of the trade change your clothes
At the side of your car Modesty goes far
******, Washing machine, tombstone
PartyWave ,Wipe out, a Kook surfer alone

Summer jobs to support the habit
Summer Loving, beach bunnies rabbit
Surreal Sunset , ankles slappers fun time
At the beaches from Malibu to County line

Our only issue with gas money
Life was righteous cool
Careful not to become somebody’s fool
Ending the season spectacular drool

Careful not to drift too far
Beyond the bluff, Blacks Beach
(****) not for young eyes
Teenagers took a peek or two surprise

Two epic weeks every summer kid trio
Family Camping at Leo Carrillo
Fun at Free Zuma Beach Malibu,
swim the ocean and surfing canoe

Ventura County Line. where the surfers lineup and watch an epic sunrise sublime
Catch the morning waves Blessed days
Were adventure’s I’ll never forget

Surfers live by this Philosophy

Life‘s a beach, love the smell of the sea
Only surfers know the feeling,
No Wave no glory, drugs no thanks,
Surfing is life. The rest are details.

Life‘s a wave, go big or go home
Let your surfing do the talking
Work is for people who don’t surf
If it swells ride, it doubt, paddle out

Here one minute
Gone the next
From what you were
To nothing left
All except
The memory
That too soon
Will also leave

Every picture
Of you will fade
Until they're finally
Thrown away
No one remembers
Your look, your name
Gone out as fast
As you came in

Here one minute
Then out of sight
Thought you'd win it
Not this time
When you stood up
Life knocked you down
Better luck
Next go around
Whatever you mean to me
is nestled deep inside my spirit
Lips sealed, I'll never speak of it
not to you, nor any other soul;
Heart pumping soul-searing love,
unrequited and strong.

Here he comes wearing bright colours
That say,
I'm getting in you're way

He doesn't take rejection easy
Try wafting away
In you're face
Instantly
Persistently

Gets his kicks this way
Try to make my excuses
Conversation brings
Subtle threat
Of a sting

At the speed of a
Golden eagle,
He'll hit you with
A needle

Compound eyes
Only see one view
Any other is
Out of view

To my relief
He sees something sweet,
Feet
Faster than wings
Off he buzzed.

I make you up inside my head,
a version all fabricated from my own mind,
like an invisible chain
with a weight attached pulling me in
there is an unreasonable, unrealistic, tug
to get to know you
science can’t explain what this feeling is
that makes me see you
makes me feel like I can read you
a vibration of attraction that physics
hasn’t quite discovered yet
a gravitational pull of my mind leads me to thoughts of another dimension
with a me and a you in an alternate reality of my imagination that feels so real it’s like a memory
call it chemistry or a recollection from a past life
but I see you in my daydreams
A hazy place filled with my fantasies of all the possibilities of humans I feel bonds with but don’t really know

I need
A little something
Every
Day
Just something small
A word
A smile
A share
And
It will be enough
Because
It's from you
