Dark n Beautiful
We seek wakefulness,
What is Barbados to me?
Hot sun, and Broad Rim hats and old khaki pants?
Robust men with warm undertone skin,
That blends with the cultivated land.
We seek constant reassurance from the one we love
That they will be there for us in good times
Or bad times, just to feel good about ourselves.
What is America to me,
I mean so much to me,
A place where I was able to educated my offspring,
While I work from sunrise, to sundown
Under pressure, under humiliation however,
Every sunrise holds more promise, and every sunset hold more peace. – Anonymous.
We seek solutions for all the hateful people,
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking that created them.

We can’t sit back and do nothing
Or wonder when the race hate will be over,
I think the Putin's war in Ukraine going after the wrong people:
We seek justice, for hate crimes
What Jamaica to me?
The place of rhythm of swing and slay
Where someone can fall in love today
And deceive you the next day:
We seek answers, but only God know
That his creation is out of control:
We seek peace and peace comes with love
Where there is no love, in one's heart
There will be no peace.
We all know about a little wisdom
But did we put it to the test
God opens millions of flowers every day without forcing their buds
Food for thoughts my poetic friend.
Be vigilant, be wise, never trust anyone.

The End is not an End
But the transition to something new
Death is not finality
But the birth of Life thats true
And reason is not sanity
An illusion not the truth
When you find that you have given
All that you can do
Remember
Better days are waiting-
Just find the Faith
   in you...

Just a day like today
Like today just a day
As the sun still shine
Still shine the sun
And my soul feels aware
And aware my soul feels
What will be shall come
And what shall come will be

Life brings days and memories
Memories and days life brings
When your heart silent weeps
Silent weeps your heart
And take the chance
To wonder and dance
Dance and wonder
When the chance you take
Leads you nor here nor there
Nor there leads you nor here
But forward you take

Sings the songbird its song
Brings the wind whats been gone
Whats been gone the wind brings
As its song the songbird sings
No tears to weep
So to weep no tears
But to have and to keep
Keep but to have

Live a life for what it is
And what it is but to live

Nothing remains always
And always remains nothing
You walk through your life
When you live through your walk
And someone once said
To try is to know
When you know
You will try
And that you will know

So take heed and be wise
Through age you will find
You will find with age
You will take heed and be wise

Live a life for what it is
And what it is but to live

These are the days
And the days are to live
Words that seem to depict the ebb and flow of Life and of days

You are more than
the fear that holds you back.

You are more than
the sorrow that you carry within.

You are more than
the pain that keeps you away
from yourself.

You are more than
the anger that consumes you.

You are more than
you think you are.

Like the first lily that pushes out of the ground
You raised your arms and rose to heaven
Revived and restored like a turtle dove in flight
You opened your heart and He raised you up,
on this "Blessed Easter Morning"
As the larks deliver their song in flight
we celebrate you,   "Lord, Savior, King"
This heavenly reward is our countenance of light
bestowed on us today brighter than sunlight;
You, first tulip of Spring rejoice in our hearts
as we awaken to a new world full of promise
You auroral dawning (alibi) rose of Sharon
bring us tidings of love and renewal

Wild splashes of beaming

Azure brushing back and forth

Tottering briskly on granite rocks

Enlightening excitement to our eyes

Radiance of teal drops sprinkle salt

Follicles misting up the atmosphere

Activating a rushing rippling of waves

Lashing playfully with each other

Looping to a sensational surprise

Teal waters awakened the
seas,
refreshing the buds, and polished the
breeze.
Paradise petals softened
the massed, mauve
mist.
Hazel hues glimmered
gold brushing the taupe
tips.
Morning, glowing dew dusted
the flower's arroyo
seeds.
Spring's scenery whispering
jewel gardens bursting bonny
beads.

lesser forms of sunshine
each a design dreamt long ago
each a blissful madness of joy
they invade the room through the open window
while the shadow of a man recites "Hamlet"
in a cold gravel voice
a prince born of such a bold pen
such a tale forever told yet again

"Hamlet" reaches the end of his nonsense verse
no tragedy of princes can tell the whole tale
there is always the love so long restrained
that bursts all the inhibitions and makes
the world all about her

a prince born of such a bold pen
such a tale forever told yet again
penned by figures clouded in mysteries created
a name that is known to every house and citadel
speaking to a world he never could imagine
all these centuries later
his words still stir
