The sunbeams held the trees in a big embrace
The little plants and shrubs held hands
And smiled with grace
The sun set its focus on the mountains and the valleys
The river water flows through the rock crevices, a spray of mist, made a rainbow in sunshine
The clouds float over the mountains, one silken veil of white
The Sunlit valley, the tall mountains and the beautiful landscape, the rains keep them all spotlessly green
Inspired by ‘Chalay Thay Saath’ a movie I watched on Netflix
Negativity is a bane
Don’t feed it your pain
It will grow manifold
And leave not a trace
******* you into its vile vines

The goodness in you, a boon
Revitalise the seeds
Nurture well, and see them flourish
To be cherished on a sunny day
Or a chilly winter’s night
Just some thoughts

Beware the ides of March, they said,
But I had fallen heels over head
It was but the seventh day of January
and March looked a spot, far away

Aware of my own reality, I was-
But caught in her fantasy, too, I was-
So I spent February melancholy
With pens and journals, bottles and drugs

Alas the day came, lifted was the mist
of reverence and awe, and again I could see
The stab wounds slowly clotted and closed
Left scars of love etched in heart and skin
'Et tu Brute?'

Inspired by William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
