Desolate beings full of,

Awkward exchanges,
                         Empty glares,
Frigid collisions,
                        Struggling stares.

Disdained lovers with,

Vanishing memories,
                         Vain affections,
Impetuous attempts,
                         Impotent connections.

Familiar Strangers

We are

A promising future

No more.

In That Moonlit Night Standing In The Abaft,
Watching The Towed Flaccid Wooden Raft,
I Thought That I Saw An Angel Resting,
Lying Exhausted There In That Craft.

I Call The Girl Out Unbeknownst Of Her Kind Name,
"Hey Young Lady!!" To Which She Didn't Much Respond,
She Looked Up Towards Me Once In Anguish & Collapsed,
I See Desperation In Her Amber Eyes & Resolve To Help Her.

The Crewmen Had Now Been Doing The Paddles After Resting,
I Summon My Captain & Ask, "Do You See That Girl In The Raft?"
The Senile Captain Smiles To Say, "Commodore, Better Get Married,"
I Look Just Clueless To Which He Simply Replies, "There Is No Girl."

True He Was As She Had Simply Disappeared,
I Started Thinking Of My Sleep Needs That Day,
I Looked Around Again In A Hope To Find The Girl,
I Had Compromised My Routine As The Commodore.

Then I Immediately Realized It Was My Wild Phantasm,
Now This Was Just A Plain Illusion Of A Tired Sailor's Mind,
No Mermaids Could Have Ever Existed In Reality & Were Fake,
I Turned Towards The Deck To Go Back To My Bunk For Sleeping.

As I Climbed Down The Stairs To Enter My Room Amazed & Dazed,
I Saw Her Standing And Waiting For Me By The Side Of My Bunk,
I Accepted That Delusion Of My Mind & Started To Lie Down,
She Said, "I'm As Real As Your Thoughts, Don't Fear Me."

She & I-Me & Her, Had The Best Time That Night,
In The Morning She Was Gone & Was Just Gone,
Disappeared Into Thin Air While I Was Asleep,
Each Day I So Dearly Long For Her To Return.

Sir B
Should I love you
and send you an
blush of roses
or
just a box of chocolates
or maybe
just a simple card
expressing my deep desire
to love you for an infinity

Maybe

I could just hope to be loved
by you
and expect roses
and chocolates
or just a sincere card
expressing your love to me
for an infinity

But we both do know
that it won't happen
we are "forever alone" people
nothing good happens to us

so the end question becomes

should we love?
or
just wait to be loved?

Hard question that is.
A poem made for valentines day. I expect nothing from anyone, i mean. I have no reason to.. unless someone is generous enough to.. I don't think they are.. Well oh well. Hope you guys have a nice valentines day with whomever you are planning to spend it with. Its beautiful that its on a Friday, you can go on a movie night or something. If you are just going to be alone like I will be.. Send a message, maybe we can chat...
I said I'd stop and I'd stay clean

But we all know that talk is cheap

I wanted to turn away from this mess

Wanted to recover from the nights I didn't sleep.

It was easy to quit under the glare of morning light,

But I can't shake the urge to give it a little kiss

goodbye.

And it's a stabbing pain, to take the truth,

That my downfall is in the moments when my fingers touch the sky.

I'll try to fix myself once more

Try to push away and kick it all.

To see that what goes up must surely come down

And that getting high will eventually lead me to a fall.
Wrote this in a bathroom stall
Wine comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
I look at you, and I sigh.
Here dead we lie
Because we did not choose
To live and shame the land
From which we sprung.

Life, to be sure,
Is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

I drowned in my tears, as they streamed down my face,
I took out my weapon from its glass case.
It gleamed in my hands as I turned it over and over,
Sat beside me - torn, what was once, a four leaf clover.

It has restrained me - and yet it torments,
with each blow to my arm; my mouth ferments.
Coughing - as i strangle myself with my thoughts,
I struggle to breathe as my mind soughts

Any comfort between these four walls,
Beckoning my name - I hear your calls.
They echo through the night and resonate through the day,
Leaving me in a crumpled heap of dismay.

I'm ripped, I'm torn, I'm broken,
here - take this metal as a symbol of my token.
For now, following the angels - I'll drift away,
Looking like I'm asleep in the place that I lay.
