Dream forever
And quietly
Slip into
Eternity
the bliss of
Every
Waking moment

Taking time
To be frozen
Let the sun be
Set and silent
Over the fields
Unrepentant

The clocks run in reverse
To chase
The image of a world
In inverse
Re-animation
While we're Left behind
With The remnants
Of A future
Civilization

The flame that doesn't burn
Mocks
The ones
Who never learn
To be free
And only then
We're allowed to see
Beyond
The chains
Of possibility

If the Heavens will not forgive you
Then come to me
For I shall

If the Forests will not accept you
Then come to me
For I shall

If the Oceans will not embrace you
Then come to me
For I shall

If all that you seek
Is within your reach
Then what more
Could be beyond the door?

If all that you know
Should burst, and overflow
Then who else would question?
Search, surge, break forth, and grow?

And at the end of time
We halt
Look back, take stock
On what was,
What could be,
And what was to become

So, should you find that all you want
Cannot give you all that you need
Then come back to me
One day, once more
For I shall

Born too early
To a world at noon
Our dreams of glory
Too much too soon

One generation
Born after the greats
Our aspirations came
Too little Too late

My children I beg of you
Keep my dreams strong
To see all the worlds
Where I should belong

And should come the time
At the break of new dawn
When my home and people
Are all dead and gone

Carry me with you
To the edge of beyond
Scatter my ashes
Where hopes are reborn
Sehnsucht

How does one fear the night
When we cannot bask in the light?

Wild thoughts flee
and run free
as they chase
the night mare
Her wild tresses, as they ride the wind
Catch flame
and burn the peace of sleep
No reprieve for the fallen
No rest for the wicked
And at the end of all things said,
We can sleep when we’re dead

It might have been
the breath of spring
that brought to me a thought
would fill by being

It could have been
the light of summer
made me drunk
on dreams that last forever

It may have been
an autumn sigh
which showed me colour
matures as wine does
and leaves no last goodbye

It might be
that Winter's touch
may leave me, agony
Abandon me as much
as winter lasts forever
until spring might march
and until then
I gift to you my Treasure.
It is indeed meant to be 'by being', not 'my being',

Among his brethren he finds himself
Scattered, he knows
the light cannot save him now
away from the reaches of his kind
he seeks solace
the dark can only bring.
Come Heaven’s wrath or Gaia’s rage
let the next day come.
He is grounded, safe
in Earth’s embrace
Until he sheds his skin,
Relinquish his shield.
Burst forth from the Haven that stifles his breath
Bloom Before his Brothers might breathe
Blossom Beyond his hours to be
He is where the light abates
Tell Hades to wait
Beyond the river, Before the gate
And when the time is ripe
Listen to the death of fate.
