I hope you don't mind
I've gone offline
to infuse myself
with adamantium

Sticks and stones haven't
yet broken these bones
but rampant selfishness
and greed just might
Found this in my drafts. Peace and love to all the peeps who find themselves overwhelmed by the world

In this wondrous world of ours,
What if kind was enough;
What if we all wanted
To be sorted into Hufflepuff;
What if compassion counted
Far more than being right,
More than being the best;
What if, in kindness we unite

let go
twirl
and twirl
and twirl

flutter, tip, tumble

whirling
swirling
floating
flying

spin, spin, spin

dive down
veer up
slide over
dive in

softly settle, dream

Curled up in a tiny ball,
I can not stand,
for fear I'll fall.
-
So much pain,
I must endure,
of which I haven't, found a cure.
-
Raindrops land upon my roof,
my desperationneeds no proof;
My sorrow sticks to me like glue,
I do not know,
what I will do.
-
Cries of help,
always unheard;
I do not speak,
a single word.
-
Don't take offence,
if I don't speak;
For some it comes,
so easily.

She had lips
that whispered
the possibility
of forever,
and eyes
that looked
like home.

It’s ok to be mad
You’re right to be worried
Don’t tamp down that fury
Don’t talk yourself down
You don’t have to turn around
or be quiet
You can stand your ground
You don’t have to
stay behind
There's no need to
watch it burn

There is hope
in mad -
Awareness of
a better way -
Demand it
