he failed me and you, and he failed himself too.
a message of life, he should have become,
-
now as black as ink - the depths of his eyes.
he runs in the moonlight of this dark paradise...
-
what he loves he destroys,
yet what he wins he gives.
-
his  knowledge  a  burden  ,  now  death  he  lives.

never give up, a day yet to come
the songs of mistakes, all he can hum.
-
the bad in the good, the good in the bad
heaven aflame, his fingers go numb
-
higher than heaven, lower than hell
wherever he is, he's trapped in a cell
-
his ribs are for cages, his truth is a sin
he's  dying  because  of  the  things  he's  been  in

angel of fire
turning to ashes
he's cinder with blood
tears on his lashes

I dismissed all the possibilities in my mind
And focused on the things that weren't about
To happen

IN A SPLIT SECOND, I bloomed
Not to get others' attention
Except maybe yours

Then I turned to all the things
The stars have taught me
And all the things
They have made me forget

I talked only when I knew the answer
And all bright things turned brighter
ONLY your shadow lingered

There is no cure for the things
That aren't about to happen.
