This morning I awoke to gray light
coming through the blinds
because of where the master bedroom
is positioned

conclusion
we spend most of our lives in darkness with
a little bit of ***** sunshine sprinkled in
every now and then

that is if you choose to accept
this assessment

A word painting with a straight forward message

Jay earnest
abstract esoteric line
like a crescent moon bleating in shrouded light
the warm kiss
evaporates on fluttering moons
I hold you close, and whisper secrets to your scars
so long
love
this was a poem about something that happened to me, its really deep and your welcome

Sometimes we ponder or stand
aghast

and sometimes we refract
redirect

or outright ignore
the light

An abstract word painting

It was you
who brought the rhapsody
my heart you captured
I don't want to be set free

every note has since
become a part of me
everywhere I go
there's your affinity

I'm fearful of words
often they are said in obscurity
the truest of love if there be
dwells in rapturous melody

that transcends every reason
and ushers in untold beauty
my life rests in your rhapsody
as you are my very ecstasy!
