Her lips, now draw so near mine—
static hums,
lightning sings,
my fingertips zing.

Our breath suspends in flight,
threads pulled oh so tight;
My hunger coils—
her taste, pure starlight.

Our flesh enraptures,
trembles nearly bare—
a storm unfolds,
surging ever slowly— there.

The light hits my skin different
the sun would never
leave behind traces of love
I have yet to see the same artistic expression
during the day
This contrast
leaves blisters on my hands
Waking up under a spell
my feet hurt
Photographic memories of you
make love
to my soul
Full of dreary absence
and dozy
my large tears brim
Let them fall

Leave me please.
Leave me in this last way.
Remove every shard-
Even the ones that will bleed me,
Leave me gasping like the wake of a severed limb.
Take the parts of you that are no longer Distinguishable from the parts of me,
So I might heal around the edges
Or unravel one last time.

If you knew me well,
You would already know:
Every word has been written
In each moment with you alone.

As the sun comes up day after day,
I just wonder when this act would halt,
wishing for the darkness to stay forever,
to wake up, only if I can see you near.

Pretending through the day is bad enough,
then comes the moon, to whom I talk,
pouring out my sorrows and breaking down,
making the nights worse, along with nightmares.

I hardly understand the ticking of the clock,
trying hard to go through each day,
wishing today would finally be my time,
to go into a peaceful sleep and not be back.
